FLOWERS! Are y’all using real or fake? Or a mixture of both? We have considered doing fake bouquets (so we can keep them) and real for decor. Or should we do all real or all fake?

We're planning on a mix. Fake for bouquets and real for decor. I'm reusing my bouquet and the ladies will have floral hoops so it can be wall decor for them later on.

I think I want real flowers for the bouquets and boutonnieres and some other little things, Flowers for the centerpieces and arch will probably be fake.

Personally, if the flowers are in the guests reach to touch or smell, like on the tables or floor, do real flowers. But when the flowers are up on stage or somewhere else, you can do fake because then everyone will think they're real!
I'm not a big fan of fake flowers but sometimes, you got'ta do what got'ta do! Mix for me is perfect☺

I’m going to do fake flowers for centerpieces and bridesmaid bouquets. Everyone else is telling me I need to have real flowers for my own bouquet but I could care less if they’re real or not as long as the photos turn out good! Lol. I’m trying to make the bouquets something they can all use as home decor after.

I’m planning for fake, just because they won’t look wilted by the end of the day. I can keep them easier that way as well, and it is much cheaper. It’s easier to have them all in hand before the day of to me.

My best friend did fake and she still has them in her home as decoration Smiley smile they looked really good! She used good fake flowers though. I bought my fake bouquets (9) at Michael's for $50 and had my florist (who did my decor) add some greenery to all and white flowers to mine Smiley smile I think they looked great, but I really think it’s personal preference!

I used real flowers and I'm so glad I did. Keep in mind fake flowers can cost just as much or even more than real flowrers.

Good luck i think its deff more cost efficient doing the fake

I did all bouquets in and boutonieres in sola wood flowers. And all centerpieces in artificial flowers. Our wedding is destination and the quotes I was getting were just unreal I spent maybe 300 in total on all centerpieces and bouquets and what not and I dont even think it was that much!

Definitely fake for centerpieces and other decor since we’re doing a lot of DIY and I want to get those finished early. For bouquets we haven’t decided yet but leaning towards real ones

We're using real flowers, I thought about using fake but didn't like the ones I found. Our venue already has alot of flowers and greenery so we don't need much. This is helping bring the cost down. We're doing a corner piece for the arch, bouquets and boutonnieres, and simple centerpieces. I shopped around and found a place that does everything including delivery for about $1200 and this is in an expensive part of cali.
