Flowers

FLOWERS! Are y’all using real or fake? Or a mixture of both? We have considered doing fake bouquets (so we can keep them) and real for decor. Or should we do all real or all fake?

We are doing all fake cause I am spending about $400 that way. With centerpiece, bouquets, corsages , boutonnières. My sisters and dads step kids who are not in the wedding also get a boutonnières or corsage. Flowers was just not a big thing to me.

I have some fake centerpieces but my godmother offered to pay for flowers so I'll probably go real for bouquet.

My mom is a retired florist doing our flowers. She is doing fake greenery & real flowers. She will do the greenery weeks before & add the flowers the night before!

I feel like we will end up doing a combination of both. Right now I’m doing our centerpieces with fake flowers and I’m thinking of doing a broach bouquet for myself. I might add some real flowers to our sweetheart table and have the bridal party have real flowers. Not sure yet. I’m really loving the way our centerpieces are coming out so not sure I can really justify the cost of real flowers.

I might do a combination of both (I have horrible allergies) , but I really like the fake ones because they can match the dress colors.

I am doing a combination. Centerpieces will be silk, and bouquets/boutonnieres/corsages will be real.

Im doing all fake.flowers are expensive the thought of sending even more just to have them all die bothers me. Plus i would like to keep some stuff just as momentos.these are the garlands im currently working on that will go down the pillars of our archway.i will have real petals for my flower girls since its a requirement for my venue (out doors and the dont allow fake petals because they damage the forest around the venue) and i will have real roses on my 4 high top tables around the bar...the rest will all be fake

We are using a mixture of both! Fake flowers will be used in the centerpieces on the tables and the rest will be real flowers!

I'm using Real Touch flowers for bouquets, bouts, and corsages. We aren't having any floral whatsoever in the decor; we are making celestial decor and decided to forego the additional greenery that I'd considered for about two seconds.

All my bouquets were real. Everything on tables and other decorations were fake.

I used all real flowers. I’m personally not a fan of fake flowers unless they’re the really nice ones which tend to be really pricey.

Hey Cher, I was reading an article about a bride who did this but got her account frozen by her bank because the purchase of that many flowers was marked as suspicious. Also she had to call & place the order a week ahead of time in order to get what she wanted. Just some thoughts & hopefully helpful for you! Wouldn't want your account frozen or not have enough flowers ^.^

To the OP - I'm doing real for myself, the groom, BM & GM, fake for the centerpieces Smiley smile

I’m usually not either, but my mom & I put together this bouquet & it doesn’t look fake so it has me second guessing!

Mostly real. Our venue has faux eucalyptus garland that we will use down the tables along with real greenery and flowers mixed in.
