Flower help.

I was planning on using Global Rose and Flower Explosion for my flowers, but I'm starting to get worried about storing the flowers and needing to have them shipped to me so close to the date so they don't die.

My problem is I can't find any fake florals that even come close to what I was paying for the real ones. Before shipping the real flowers come to $497. This is for sunflowers, dahlias, calla lilies, and greenery. Over 100 flowers.
Where are you guys getting your fake florals? Or if you went the diy route with real flowers how'd it go?

You can buy silk bouquets already made on Etsy (change the search feature to US shops only).

With real flowers, they can be kept in a cool room like a garage.

I bought my bouquet on Etsy and decided to swap out some of the fake ranunculus for fake white roses. I bought the roses on Amazon and they're made of a really soft foam, so they look and feel like the real thing. They were fairly cheap and about 3" across so they were a good size.

As far as cost, maybe try searching for bulk "real touch" flowers on Amazon and see what that'd add up to. Sounds like the flowers you want are all bigger, so you won't have to buy as many to bulk up any arrangements you had in mind.

Something to consider with real vs fake too: you could potentially spend less on the real ones, but they'll all die. If you get fake ones and aren't too attached to them, you could resell them after your wedding and get more $ back compared to the $ you spend on flowers that'll eventually get tossed.
