We wanted the girls to have matching dresses. I've found several dresses in the $50-$70 price range that could be worn outside of the wedding as well. BM is saying she has a price range of $20-$30 ( she never stated this before to me ). When I asked her about being in the wedding as a BM and my godchild being a flower girl, I made it VERY CLEAR that this would be a financial obligation for her. She said yes this is something I can manage money wise.. do you believe $50-$60 is a managable price range for flower girl dresses? Or am I crazy ??

I think that's a lot of money for a 3 year old dress. My BM (FG's mom) and I found a ton of dresses at Macy's and wound up getting her one for $29.99, I paid for it but I personally thought some of these $70 dollar FG dresses were a crazy price

I have daughters aged 10, 8 and 5. They have matching dresses. Found them on Amazon for $20. They're gorgeous. It's possible to find dresses in her budget. Keep trying, I'm sure you'll find something you're both comfortable with.

Wanted to show pictures. I love them so much. I can honestly say that $60 for one dress my child will grow out of very quickly is not something i would do. Even if I could afford it. But. This dress. $20 on Amazon. And it comes in all sizes. We found a lot of dresses that range in all sizes.

I had a similar situation but because We absolutely wanted my now husbands nieces to be our flower girls, we purchased the dresses for them. We are fortunate enough to be able to pay for it and wouldn’t want family to stress about money just to be in our wedding.

I would also try Burlington coat factory. When my daughter was little I used to get all of her holiday dresses there & at great prices. She wasnt baptized until she was 6 and I bought her a white communion gown for her baptism and it was about $30 and beautiful.
Now that its Easter season I would also check consignment stores. I wouldnt want to spend a lot if it were me because kids will grow out of it quickly & probably not have the chance to wear it again.

They grow too fast to spend that much. Well for me anyway.
