Looking for inspiration for my bouquet, and I would love to see what you all did! Flowers have been one of the most stressful parts of wedding planning for me, since I'm clueless about them, and it seems like there are just so many options! My wedding colors are cerulean blue, sparkly silver, and white.

Did your bouquet match your bridesmaids flowers? How did you decide on what flowers to choose? Did you have a lot of greenery in your bouquet, or mostly flowers? Did you include flower colors that weren't one of your wedding colors? Share a picture of what your bouquet and/or your bridesmaids bouquets looked like!

Thank you! We had to glue my bouquet because the flowers weren't staying in the holder. We didn't have time to glue the bridesmaids or groomswoman's bouquets. One rose fell out of one of bridesmaid's bouquets during the ceremony. The groomswoman's entire bouquet fell apart during photos. The florist was a nightmare.

That makes sense. I definitely don't think I've ever seen anything similar to that before, though now I'm wondering why it isn't more common! It looks easy to wear, and you'll get to keep the flowers in all ceremony pictures.

I got them already assembled at Michael’s. The one on the left was the one assembled the one on the right with me taking a few of them and putting it together for my bridal bouquet

Thank you! I honestly think our florist just didn't know what she was doing. We had so many issues with her. Our bouquets were literally falling apart. You could try to find bright blue roses or white roses that the edges of the petals were dipped in blue.

That was exactly my thought and when I saw it, I just knew it was what I wanted. Plus, the only downside is I wanted real flowers, but real flowers would’ve cost more due to special ordering (out of season) flowers and having them custom colored.
Now my bouquet is automatically preserved

I love the sunflower theme! One of my friends had sunflowers as the bouquets in her wedding, and it looked so great. I had told my florist that I didn't want to do sunflowers because I didn't want to feel like I was copying my friend, but I do think they're pretty. I think the yellow sunflower color will match the guys' suits perfectly for what you described. I also like the combination of flowers you're using in the bouquets, and how the bouquets will be similar, yet slightly different than yours. Please post pictures after your wedding, I would love to see how the bouquets turned out!

Love it!! Those sound like they are going to turn out so well!

We did pick a color scheme - cerulean blue, sparkly silver, and white. I can't think of many blue flowers that would be in season in the summer, and I'm not sure how an all-white bouquet would look against a white dress. And given that there aren't any flowers that are naturally sparkly silver, I can't really use silver flowers either lol. So I'm not sure whether to just go with all-white bouquets, or do white bouquets for the bridesmaids and some other color for me, or some other option.

I honestly think what took the longest (after getting the color I wanted) was drying time. They have to dry completely before you can actually work with them. It takes about a day or two to completely dry. Putting my sister’s together was pretty easy but it’s also smaller so it was easier to hold to maneuver the flowers and babies breath. Mine was a little more time consuming but once I got the hang of it, it was actually pretty easy. Overall, I think mine took a few hours, mainly because I played with the placement of the flowers a bit. My sister’s probably took an hour or so to put together.

I made corsages and boutonnières with the wood flowers and they turned out pretty neat as well. These were definitely a lot easier to put together 😂Flower Bouquets! 1

It definitely takes a deft hand. If I were using lots of flowers, I probably wouldn't do greenery. But I had an enchanted forest vibe in a library, so this complimented it. I had ferns, moss, candles, and just tiny woodland flowers on my table. Some ivy on the chuppah too.

I found this photo with your color scheme. I think the white flowers with greenery looks lovely against the white dress

It looks like a lot of people use blush in their bouquets as well

First of all, i'd recommend taking a deep breath and trying to relax! I know flowers can be stressful, but they don't have to be. I'd start by trying to decide if there's a certain flower or look that you want. Personally, i had a vision of what I wanted my bridal bouquet to look like. I used that vision as inspiration for my bridesmaids bouquets too. I knew I wanted it to be round and symmetrical and I wanted shades of red... red roses, dark calla lilies (because they're my favorite) and I wanted dahlias but I got mums instead. I did want my bridesmaid bouquets to match mine, but not exactly. You can do your wedding colors, or complimenting colors. My bridesmaids wore red dresses, so red flowers matched perfectly. I'd start by looking on Pinterest to get inspiration and ideas of what you like and don't like. Talk to a florist! They can guide you and help you make decisions. If you don't have your heart set on a particular flower, that can be good! It can save you money if you go with what's in season. Maybe come up with a budget and go over that with the florist so they can give you ideas of what they can do. I'd recommend staying with white or lighter colors like and mixing in greenery. It will keep it nice and neutral!

    This was my inspiration photo.

Something like this would be so pretty!!

Although these bridesmaid dresses aren't quite your color, it gives you an idea of something neutral you can do.

That timing isn't too bad! It also seems like one of those things where the step requiring the most time is arranging them/making them look nice, as opposed to actually assembling the bouquet (stems, dying the flowers, etc). After hearing about your experience with them, I might give the wood flowers another try, just to see what happens. The ones you posted turned out so well! Thank you for sharing the pictures!

I agree, the white flowers stand out beautifully with the greenery in the bouquet. I don't think I'm a fan of the specific greenery they used in this picture, but that can always be replaced with a different greenery. This gives me a good starting point for a white flower bouquet. Thank you for finding this picture!!

The blush looks pretty!! I actually think that a pink might pair well with my bridesmaids dresses. This is the color we're using for their dresses:
Flower Bouquets! 12Am I supposed to match my bouquets with my bridesmaids? Or would it look OK to have the bridesmaids bouquets with white and blush flowers, and mine with all white flowers?
