Florist had Covid-19, but i just postponed my wedding

Erika, on April 2, 2020 at 12:08 PM Posted in Planning 0 5
So my florist got the virus and thankfully she is now at home. My fiancé and I just decided to postpone our wedding from June 5 to June 4, 2021. I now have to contact all my vendors to make sure they’re available on our new date. I’m not sure how to go about contacting my florist because going through having the virus and having been hospitalized for days I’m sure she’s not focused on her job as a florist although being the wonderful florist that she is, I’m sure she still has her clients in the back of her mind. How should I go about this?

Sorry to hear she has the virus, and that you are going through this. Does she have maybe a "second in command" that will be able to answer you and all of her other clients?

I believe her husband would be second in command. But I think I’d probably have to contact her directly because I only have her contact info😓

Does she have a work email you can contact her with? It’s a little less invasive than calling and she’d be able to answer when she’s able to get back to work. I’d just say you understand there will be a delay in her response but you’d love to connect about your new date when she’s recovered. That might be all you can do.

Yes she does! I already had a general email ready to send to my vendors I’ll just edit hers to include your recommendation. Thank you!

    Hi Erika,

I completely agree with Courtney's suggestion above. Luckily, you have plenty of time before your June 2021 wedding.

Good luck with the postponement process! Smiley heart
