the total before taxes and fees was $1357 with tax and the fees that brings it up to $1642... Not terrible but its more than i was hoping to spend.

the BM bouquets are $100 that seems high what are you ladies paying for those?

Other than that the bouts are $10 a piece and my tables are only $18 except for the Card and guestbook tables which are $55 each right now.

There is about $150 of extras that i am going to try to get reduced (like my FG flower crowns and Ceremony Decor).

Center Piece - its $18 per Milk Glass budvase, i have 3 per table with a large lantern as the centerpiece i am providing the milk glas to her. so the table flowers i don't really have and issue with thats $54 per table.

ETA; I didnt write that correctly the 1st time.

i mom bought me 2 -15inch( sized milk glass vases) that i was going to use for the card and the guest book table, and the ceremony is going to be outside in a garden so i am not sure i would use them out there.

Not sure about the set up because my florist is not setting anything up, but just for our delivery it is $40.

That sounds great to me too! The delivery charge sounds normal. I've seen $200, $250, or 10% of the total bill.

Our delivery and set-up fee is $128. Ours is only 1 site- do you have a separate ceremony and reception venue? Our ceremony decor is very simple (arch is rented from another company, florist is putting florals on the arch)...for the reception, we just have floral centerpieces and no other florals... Consider what you have that they might need to set up, that can make the fee more expensive but still, I don't think $200 is outrageous!

What are your BM bouquets made of? Keep in mind the cost of the flowers you choose really effects the price.

My BM bouquet is $112, but I choose peonies and hydrangeas, so I knew it wouldn't be cheap.

Hi S&R we are using Katydid Flowers out of Mendon MA. they do really great work from what i have seen and were suggested by my DOC. The prices arent outrageous i just need to figure out what my max i am willing to spend for them is, its hard because i love flowers and i just want it all.

Where is your venue again? Our florist is only charging $50 but they literally are maybe 10 minutes from our venue. I had a mock up and it was nice but not my favorite so I hope it's better for the wedding with the adjustments I asked for.

I think it really depends on what level of floral you're going for. We're having my bouquet and the girls, grooms lapel thing, three grooms men, two moms pin-ons, and centerpieces. It also depends on what flower's your choosing, most of mine are hydrangea and babies breath with the groom having one baby boom orchid because it was the "one thing" he wanted. We're also buying our own silk petals and aisle runner instead of having them do it which saved us a lot of money and there was a special discount if you signed with them before the end of March. So in all with tax and service and the actual flowers ours came out to being $667 which was the cheapest I could find for close to D.C. and they set everything up for me (except the things I've decided to do myself). But like I said it really depends on what type of flowers you have and how much.

I am in Toronto and that sounds amazing to me - I'm paying more than double but everything in Canada is more expensive! My only suggestion would be talk to your florist about the specific flowers - I was able to shave about $600 off my total by making some substitutions (for very similar flowers/similar overall effect) in the centerpieces. Granted the flowers I really wanted are all out of season in the fall lol ...

Yea FutureMrs.Pej- i already told her that i want in season flowers, but i think there are some ways to cut back. like there are $80 worth of mums for the ceremony, and i wanted my FG to have Crowns another $105 for 3 ( i think i could make them for less than $35 a piece).

when i look at the break down its actually very fair for most things, i need to see what alternative flowers she could use for some things or suck it up. Before the delivery and setup(2 hrs) fee its actually in my budget... thats why i was wondering what other ladies got charged for that

That sounds normal- our set up/delivery fee is also $200 and our taxes, so far, are $269.52. My bouquet is $100 and my BM bouquets are $45 each, which is a really good deal. Although our quote is at $3,638.52 minus the $250 I put down for the deposit. I still need to add in little florals like for our belly bar tables, guestbook table, gift/card table, and escort card table.

$200 for set up and delivery? I wish! Unfortunately, we couldn't find any florists we could agree on and went with one in Downtown LA. He's charge $400 for each venue. DH thought that was high until I explained to him it would take at 1 - 1.5 for the ceremony and 2 hours for cocktail hour/reception.

My floral designer is charging $600 for set up and delivery but I am having a chuppah (renting) escort table set up along with everything else. The bridal bouquets where just under $100 each I believe.

That is a great deal. I just received a quote from a florist and she wanted $250 for my bouquet and 75 for each bridesmaid bouquet. My total in the end was $2800 and I just think that is beyond ridiculous.

You definitely got a great deal! I would take it!

Our centerpieces are included with the venue. Therefore, our florist is just doing bouquets and bouts. We're picking them up ourselves to save on the delivery fee. Maybe see if that's an option? Though with all those centerpieces, the cost might be worth it.
