What did 10k floral budget get you? I was quoted $14k by a popular florist in San Diego. My floral budget is 10k. Do any of you have a similar floral budget? If so, what did it get you? (ex. number of centerpieces, bouts, flower wall etc.) Just want to see if the pricing is comparable. Thanks! ...

I’m in VT and spending around $6500 all said and done for flowers and vases. We are getting 8 low centerpieces, 7 high centerpieces, a floral arch (that will be reused at reception), 10 bridesmaids bouquets, bridal bouquet, 4 wrist corsages, 10 groomsmen boutonnières, grooms boutonnière, 2 ring bearer boutonnières, a boutonnière for my dad, 2 baskets of flower petals for the older girls and one very small baby bouquet for the youngest flower girl. We are using hydrangeas, peonies, roses and orchids

10k on flowers? Holy crap thats almost more then my over all wedding budget.
Are you really willing to spend that much on flowers that will literally die right after the wedding? Its just one day and to spend that much money on only one part of the wedding seems insane imo.

Totally agree. My flower budget is a couple hundred bucks. I’m getting them from a farmers market.

Wow! Your flower quote was almost the price of my entire wedding budget! Impressive!

I'm spending around $1,000 on my flowers. Getting quotes from 3 different flower vendors by next weekend. I'm having two different arbors decorated in vines and flowers, my farm tables will have greenery and flowers as runners down the middle instead of centerpieces. A bridal bouquet, multiple corsages and boutonnieres.

I would suggest definitely shopping around and getting quotes, try to stay within budget. Remember, even though flowers are beautiful, they are a one time thing and they will die. Kind of blunt, but it is the truth.

Oh wow! For that much I would expect to see Garden of Versailles quality flowers. I’m only spending $600 for flowers for everything including setup.

Omg 🥰 I instantly love you, my budget is 10k and honestly trying to go less expensive for flowers and decor including the dress, my question is that you pay for your own floral? Cause I thought if you rent a venue that is included?

Some venues might include floral. But every one I looked at you have to hire and pay for your own florist

The boutonnieres aren't breaking the budget. There are 3 of them. It's the corsages and bride's bouquet that is expensive. It's because I want hydrangeas, succulents, and other flowers. So, I am trying to make cuts to the bm bouquets and maybe do a small baby's breath bouquet or a single white rose.

The flower girl flowers are also a splurge but it's my daughter. I am borrowing the princess Charlotte / Pippa flower girl dress / baby breath flower crown and baby breath heart wreath.

We're having a slightly Dr who themed wedding. The flowers are Dr who themed. The ceremony has Dr who quotes. The cake is starry night with a tardis cake topper. My engagement ring is a tardis blue sapphire with "hello sweetie" engraved on the inside. My garter is TARDIS themed.

The bridal bouquet is succulents, hydrangeas, and roses. It ends up being blue and white.

What's really driving up the cost of floral is having the wedding on Valentine's day.... This is my biggest cost driver.

Yes, I think you mean Mr. Floral and Events, right? I believe his name is Mike. He’s definitely on my list to call. I follow him on Instagram and I think his work is very beautiful.

Haven’t heard of Whimsey, but will definitely check them out.

    Thank you!
