Floral Budget (If you don't mind sharing)

Christine, on March 2, 2015 at 1:47 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 94

I'm waiting on pins and needles for my florist to get my quote for flowers and decor back to me. While I'm in the dark, I'd love to know what you guys are paying for flowers and what you're getting for that amount (with pics if you have any)!

Budgeted $600, probably will come out at $700, florist is $500 for 5 bouquets, made bouts from silk for $36, and the centrepieces are being made from bulk flowers from Costco

We have budgeted 1300 but I haven't actually started working on my florals so I'm sure it may end up being more in the end

All of our ceremony/reception flowers were included in our package(DW) but for my bouquet, MOH's bouquet, grooms boutonniere, 3 additional boutonnieres, 2 corsages it was $270, and another $30 for delivery. I thought it was a fantastic deal! Here's a closeup of my flowers, my bouquet was 13" and I'm holding them out from my body a little which apparently made them look huge lol

My florist grew up with my mom, so she's doing everything for $1,000. If it were't for her I would have to give up a lot, so I'm so grateful.

Fh and I saw rose kissing balls at a bridal show and immediately decided we are having them on our tables. I'd surely live to do fresh, but, as it takes soooo many roses to make 1, it will be WAY out of budget! We have 18 tables, so we are renting silk ones so we can still have the look we love! So, that cuts tons out of our flower budget! I'm having a huge rose bouquet of 40 roses, my maids are having 12 red roses each (4 of them) 8 boutinierres, 3 corsages (all roses) and all for just shy of $400! I found a talented florist who has been working in a floral shop forever, but, branched out and is doing this as a side business now. She is barely charging for labour as she is psyched to get pics for her portfolio she is building. Works for us as our bouquets are quite simple! The pic posted is what mine will look like on my wedding day! Smiley smile

Our budget was $2500. The florist we loved quoted us $2700. I made a sad face & said "oh no, our budget is only $2500" so he dropped it to that lol. We are getting all high centerpieces, my bouquet, 5 bridesmaids bouquets, flower girl ball, boutt's for the fathers, corsages for the mothers & grandmothers, petals for both sides of the ceremony aisle, place card table arrangement, and flowers for the cake. Below are my centerpieces & my bouquet (the bouquet will be larger with crystals on it & ivory ribbon around the bottom)

Mine was $5500. 10 centerpieces, 4 bouquets, flower wands, etc. My florals were pretty ornate and I wanted peonies in my bouquet.

Our budget was $1500. we paid about $1800.

the centerpieces ate up most of it. we don't really have a big wedding party, and no girls. so i didn't have to get any bridesmaid bouquets. we had to get 6 bouts though. but those were only $12/piece.

We are paying just under $1100 for:

bridal bouquet, BM bouquets (2), bouts (6), corsages (3), a piece for the arbor, a piece for my hair, and delivery and tax. We were quoted $2500 for all this and 14 centerpieces but decided against the centerpieces. Our main flower is the calla lily. I went to another place first that quoted me $4500, I almost died.

Our budget was $600. We will be paying a little less than $550. We don't have a bridal party though and are diying the reception flowers. There was no way we could afford centerpieces. They really drive up the cost.

I've been quoted $3500.00 for 10 centerpieces, 8 bouts & bouquets, a few extra bouts and corsages for RBs, Mothers, etc., that also includes ceremony decor- aisle arrangements and gazebo arrangements. I haven't thought about escort table, sweet heart table, cake and cake table, and other misc. details. We didn't really budget for florals/decor because I know it's something I know won't be known until final payments.
