Anyone planning on wearing/has worn flat shoes on their wedding day?

I've been looking for the right pair of shoes for months and it's starting to drive me crazy. But when I think about all the standing and walking I'm going to be doing, something flat is starting to sound like a good idea. My ceremony will be outside if the weather is nice and I will have to go down some stairs on my way to the aisle... plus my dress is long so they might not show anyway. Interested in hearing your opinions on this.

Same! I know I should embrace my height, but not when wearing heels will put me at 6’3 or 6’4 with heels, when my FH is 6ft. He is by no means bothered by it, I am more self-conscious. With wearing a size 13 shoe, I hope I can find a pretty pair of flats.

These are super adorable! I want to be comfortable, and I'm not a huge fan of flats generally (considering shorter heels. I have large feet and it helps make them look more reasonable x) ), but these are beautiful, where did you get them?

I'm on the same boat! On top of that, I have wide and flat feet, so buying online isn't ideal and most physical stores don't cater to feet like mine Smiley sad
I'm definitely wearing flats though! I don't wanna risk breaking an ankle on my wedding day lol I tried on ivory lace flats at DB that were my size, but they were too narrow to fit comfortably. Back to looking!

I'm going to wear flats. Who cares what your feet look like under that dress. It's all about comfort.

I am definitely wearing flats. I rarely wear heels, and if I’m going to be on my feet pretty much the whole day, I want to be comfortable

Not flat, but close. I wanted high heels, but I have plantar fasciitis and right now it’s so bad that heels are definitely out of the question. But these are actually really comfortable!

I'm wearing glitter TOMS. I'm tall and I've been tall since I was 12 so I never wear heels. No reason for me to start on my wedding day!

I have plantars also!! It sucks. I'm looking for something similar to these. A sandal with the tiniest of heels.

I’m getting married on the beach so flats are the only way I can go. I plan on purchasing other shoes for pictures. Smiley smile I have my dress being made to give me about an inch of room at the bottom so I can wear a little heel after the ceremony.
