Anyone planning on wearing/has worn flat shoes on their wedding day?

I've been looking for the right pair of shoes for months and it's starting to drive me crazy. But when I think about all the standing and walking I'm going to be doing, something flat is starting to sound like a good idea. My ceremony will be outside if the weather is nice and I will have to go down some stairs on my way to the aisle... plus my dress is long so they might not show anyway. Interested in hearing your opinions on this.

That’s tough Smiley sad I know they have up to size 11 for my flats but it’s worth checking their others to see if they have 12s!

What are you looking for that you can't find? White, ivory and metallic flats are everywhere I look.

I haven't picked mine out yet but I'm doing jewel sandals because I want to be able to dance. I hate heels and honestly, I have really cute feet so I want to show those little piggies off. My wedding theme has a bohemian, festival vibe to it anyways so it makes sense to wear flat sandals.

I am! I’m wearing ivory lace-crochet boots with a 3/4-inch heel. I absolutely adore them.

Oh, how very cool! I’m totally excited to hear about other bohemian affairs. What colors are you doing? Indoors or out? Do tell. Smiley shame

ur theme is “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe”, but the style is very vintage bohemian. I’m making all of the decor (well, not the votive holders but I did find them on Amazon in bulk). We’re having it at home and live on seven acres so we can party as late into the night/early morning as we choose and plan on lighting up the fire pit for s’mores in the late evening. We looked at other venues but none allowed us the hippie freedom we wanted. Plus, we live in a legal pot state... I plan on bringing out all of my glassware and my hookah after dinner. None of the venues allowed that for sure. Or my fiancé’s cigar celebration with his boys and new friends.

My feet like to swell especially when standing a lot and dancing (which I plan on doing a lot of). These are my shoes!

Thanks! Yeah it is music festival meets ski resort at a small resort in Colorado. My colors are essentially rainbow and we are going to have a fun electronic DJ. I'm into graphic design so I'm making posters that resemble a festival poster. My flowers and decor are super eclectic and I want to feature some of my personal art at the reception. While we won't really be showcasing the legal goods of CO, I can almost guarantee everyone will partake at some point lol especially since both of our families are super laid back.

Just make sure you break them in fully before your wedding. They're not comfortable at first until they've been broken in after several wears.

I just bought these Badgely Mishkas. They’re not completely flat, but the wedge heel is only 1.5 inches and they’re super comfy!

If you want to be comfortable and less likely to have sore feet, wear whatever style of shoe you're used to wearing on a daily basis. I wear heels every day but I was super worried about sore feet at my first wedding so I wore ballet flats. My feet were absolutely KILLING ME by the end of the day! This time around I found a pair of Naturalizer brand heels that are almost as comfortable as my tennis shoes!! :-)

Where do you find cute shows like these for big foot women haha. I'm a size 11 to 12 and can never find shoes that fit.

Loly in the sky from modcloth. The bottom says "I finally found you." And "P.S. let's have fun"
They're comfy and I'm so excited to wear them.
