five years trying and still no baby...any advice???

Roseanna, we had the same problem when we were trying to conceive our first. I wasn't ovulating. Has the fertility Dr recommended Clomid? That helped me to start ovulating. Then our second child was easy to conceive. Good luck, and hang in there! You are definitely NOT alone in this, and I highly recommend seeing a good fertility Dr! There are SO many options, especially if your problem is not ovulating!

Have you been checked for PCOS?

I was in your shoes it took me 5years and i had lost ababy . i wanted one so bad .i prayed everyday. then one weekend me and my husband went out of town for the weeknd we had a great time . little did i know 3weeks later im was late and i took 3 home preg, test positve positve positve! so i still had to know i made a doctors appt.and sure thing ! he is a my joy now a fire fighter. football mvp just a wonderful son . i have 3 sons . but my 1st well he is my gift from GOD!!!!

This happened to my MOH, her and her husband tried for 5 years, went to fertility specialists, she took pills, they had sex everyday, nothing helped. Her DH refused to get a sperm count so she refused to get her pills refilled until he did. 3 months later she was pregnant, lol. Just relax, start exploring other options. What will be, will be

My sister has PCOs syndrome and has been married for 7 years. They put her on a special diet to lose some weight before they would do Artificial Insemination. (you get one time free in England). They were on the list and expecting to hear this year, guess what? after 7 years, she just found out she is preganant. She is now 3 months

pgmayoep-im talking to my FH tonight and going to see if he wants to make appointments to get checked...its just hard to talk to him i think its just a pride thing...

but i will defintaly let him know he needs to be checked too...

Michelle- Clomid huh? its sounds like a few people have used or know something thing about it...im writing everything down so i could make an appointment and go talk to the fertility doctor as soon as i can find a good one..thanks!!

Everyone is pretty much telling you right. I experienced a terrible miscarriage and was having difficulty getting pregnant afterwards. My FH has children so we assumed that I was the only prob but I found an OBGYN that specialized in fertility and also sent him to a specialist, we both were on meds...forgot his to increase his count, me-clomid for 2 months and now we have a 3year old daughter. Good Luck!!
