First Venue Tour

We are going to tour our first venue on Saturday. What are some important questions that I should make sure to ask??

    Ask if you can leave things there the night before, how many hours you’d get included, ask for the fees so you know what you’re being charged, etc

    Ask about fees, what's included, if vendors are included will they set up meetings etc for you, is a day of coordinator included or available - if so at what extra charge. What if it rains (if your outdoors) do you have a back up option. What they allow on site (ex: i know some people like to do a sparkler send off but some properties wont allow that and I've seen a lot of properties wont allow flower petals to be thrown (usually if you're outside). Honestly i would ask any and everything. This is your big day want to make sure you know everything! best of luck! Smiley smile

    Different bar options full bar vs beer and wine vs non alcoholic drinks

    1. Do you get discounts for using their recommend vendors
    2. What days of the week are least expensive

    2. Are decorations included
    3. Do they have an in house DJ or band
    4. What happens in the event of an emergency at the location
    5. How much to secure the date
    6. Can you pay the remaining funds in installments
    7. Is gratuity included
    8. Is there a bridal and groom suite on site
    9. How many people can the suites accommodate
    10. What’s the minimum maximum capacity
    11. Do they include the food for the cocktail hour
    12. Do they have there own caterer or will you have to hire one
    13. Do they provide a coordinator or planner
    14. Do they provide a menu for the day or seating cards
    15. What happens if you leave a deposit but decide to go with another venue
    16. Are they wheel chair accessible
    17. How many waiters and bartenders do they provide and do they wear a uniform
    18. Do you need wedding insurance
    19. If they all the catering is included do they allow outside vendors
    20. Are you responsible for the setting up and removal of the decorations
    21. Do they provide security if you need it
    22. How long before the ceremony are you able to arrive
