In an attempt to figure out a good playlist I am going to start a little "thing" here. List for me three songs. 1st the first song you associated with your soon to be spouse. 2nd a song that always makes you think of love. and 3rd the song you have chosen for the first dance. (if you don't have these songs, maybe this will inspire!)

I will start

1. Crazy Bitch __ Buck Cherry (for the first six months we were together this came on the radio every time we were together)

2. I'll be __ Edwin McCAin (I always thought my first dance would be to this)

3.) Best Friend __ Queen (John picked this o be our first song since I wouldn't let it be by anything by SLayer..:-) )

LOL, no they are not. You can maybe do "Spieluhr". Its not quite as hard and it has a neat story behind it. Maybe try and find some instrumental covers. Like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncYpduu_UiY&feature=fvw

    1) "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen - Before we were dating and we were just friends, I was terribly depressed one day and he took me out in his car and blasted Queen, and we realized (happily) that we BOTH loved Queen. This song was so happy and he kept singing it to make me smile. We're using this after the ceremony to walk back down the aisle :-)

    2) "Warmness on the Soul" by Avenged Sevenfold

    3) "El Scorcho" by Weezer - this is our song. He introduced it to me and we kept playing it a lot when we first began to realize that we were going to be more than just friends. :-)

This first one is hard because when me and my FH first 'met' we talked alot about ton's of different kinds of music. So lots of songs remind me of him. Mercy by Duffy is probably the first one that I remember that really reminds me of him.

A song that reminds me of love is Yesterday to Tomorrow by Audioslave. I love that song and the words just describe love in a way that hurts to think about it. (for me anyway).

Our first dance song, FH originally said he wanted This Years Love by David Gray. But then we've talked about I Knew I Loved You by Savage Garden and as cliche as that song may be it actually describes something my FH had said to me and now we are thinking about using that for our first dance.

They do some great covers. I have a cover of "you've got a friend" that they did and my sister has a TON. It gives rockers some options that wont offend older guests.

By the way. LOVE WOW. Nothing makes me feel better then to kill something. LOL

LOL, Im sure you can find some theme songs. Like some of the stuff you hear during festivals.. LOL

Its saved me too, I started playing with my FH about a year ago during tax season and got hooked. We are big outside people during the summer so we dont play much this time of year but come November and well into May we play almost every night. we play with one family whos daughter is one of my flower girls and their son is an usher. We get together and sound like such nerds. LOL

John got me into it shortly after he proposed saying "The couple that raids together stays together...unless one gets better loot, then all bets are off."

    He is so charming.

They have all kinds of re-makes. I found more using I-Tunes, at least more organized.

    I actually have 4!

1)Groovy Kind of Love by Phil Collins (my husband says Groovy all the time, and before we started dating, but I was crushing on him, I heard this song in a movie and even said out loud, "Doug and I can play that when we get married") and How Sweet It Is by James Taylor (anytime that song comes on we call each other and if we are together we crank it up and sing it loud)

    2) Broken Road by Rascal Flatts (it is just very fitting for us and the paths we have both taken to get where we are today)

    3) Groovy Kind of Love---of course after saying that before we even started dating was enough of an omen for us to use it as our first song...it's always kind of been our song with the history.

    1. On the Road Again by Willie Nelson - We drove across the country singing this song

    2. Lady in Red - I love this song!

    3. Don't go changing by Billy Joel - The first time FH told me he loved me was after a Billy Joel concert.

    1. "Good Morning Beautiful" by Brad Paisley becuase he used to sing this song to me at night when we were first dating.

    2. "It's Your Love" by Tim McGraw.

    3. Our first song is going to be "Then" by Brad Paisley. He called me one day from his lunch break and said he heard it on the radio and I wasn't allowed to change his mind, this was going to be the song!
