First Dance Song?!

I'll Be by Edwin Mccain. It was the first song we ever danced to, so it's been "our song."

Future Mrs. Coombs isn't it a fabulous song?! I love that it's not one used by a lot of people too.

FH's pick is "More Thank You'll Ever Know" by Travis Tritt. I think it's a little too fast paced, but since he really hasn't had opinions on much else, we may go with it. I really like "Hey Pretty Girl" by Kip Moore, it's a newer song but when I heard it, it made me think of our first dance.

We had originally planned on a thousand years by Christina Perri, but i think i'm going to use that as my entrance song, so we havne't decided on a replacement yet.

Marissa M we might learn a ballroom dance to that song but I love that song too

As a P.S., I'm a big fan of, if you'll be doing your first dance song with just the two of you, to shorten it to about 2, or 2.5 minutes. Same with any parent dances, to help keep things moving.

Otherwise you can combine songs: you and your dad start a song, then after 1 minute or so, your groom invites his mom to join you. Basically, just to keep things moving.

We're going to dance to You've Got a Friend in Me from Toy Story. I've wanted it since I was a little kid. But we'll do our last dance to The Luckiest by Ben Folds.

We're struggling with this now. Our current list is "The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson and "Here, There, and Everywhere," by the Beatles. We'd love to do the Ramones version of "Baby I Love You," but that would take a lot of dance practice.

"Out Loud" by Dispatch. We have always loved that song as a couple. Not your typical first dance song but the song means something to us.
