First Dance Song

We have four contenders:

La Vie En Rose - cover by Daniela Andrade

Eternal Flame - the Bangles

Little Wing - Jimi Hendrix

Crazy Love - Van Morrison

We honestly have had one song that stuck out to us since we first started dating. The song felt right as things in both of our life were insane at the time. The song pretty much is the promise that we made to each other. it is Papa Roach's No Matter What. However, we choose to use the Acoustic version of the song.

I really wanted to do Secret Smile by Semisonic, that is our song and has a lot.of.meaning behind it for us both... But All of me by John Legend fits more perfectly for us.

FH and I decided on All on me by Devin Dawson.

For our song we both decided to have a song that he dedicated to me back in high school to tell me when he first started having feelings towards me. It's "If I'm James Dean, Then You're Audrey Hepburn" acoustic version of course not the actual punk rock version lol

Our top two choices were both country.

The winner: today by brad paisley

The runner up : who I am with you by chris young. On our first trip together we went to Nashville, and Chris was at a local bar we went to (he was just getting radio play and wasn't a big star yet), and since then I've always felt a connection to DH when I hear his music. That song is even my ring tone for DH.

DH picked today because he liked it more, and now I love that song too.

Who I am with you- chris young

Im also loving who I am with you by Brett young but I love my first pick more

My husband told me on our first date he knew what he wanted his first dance to be at his wedding. Later that night, we danced to it. And it did end up being our first dance song two years later: "If I Should Fall Behind" by Bruce Springsteen

He chose "In Case You Didn't Know" by Brett Young I believe. However his cousin played it at his wedding a couple weeks ago so now we're probably going with "From the Ground Up" by Dan and Shay.

My cousins are highly vocally gifted, so we are having them sing their own rendition of "I can't help falling in love with you" by Elvis Presley. It's not a particularly long song so people aren't staring at us dance for 3 1/2 minutes (when neither one of us really dance lol)

Crazy Love by Van Morrison

DH & I, also had a really hard time finding the right song. We have a song but, it's one that not many realize is a love song & is really hard to dance to. So, we decided we had to pick something else. We had no clue. Basically, I looked at love songs that were from the genre and time that we wanted. For example; 1990's rock. I wrote down the ones that I thought would work, then had him listen to them. That dwindled it down to a few. Then we listened to them again, together one night & when the song we ended up with, came on, we just knew it was the one. We picked Eagles, Love will keep us alive. ETA - typo corrections

My fiance and I are probably going with Everything by Michael Buble.

To get to the decision I looked up common first dance songs and then made a playlist of possible songs. After listening to the playlist a bunch, my fiance and I narrowed it down.

It took us forever to finally pick one. We picked Cole Swindell- I just want you.

Then go figure... we fell in love with "feet don't touch the ground" by Stoney Larue so now we can't decide between those two.

I believe we are doing She's every woman by Garth Brooks. Wasn't really my first choice but he really wanted it and it's literally the only thing he has a say on in the wedding along with his groomsmen.

Doing a slow-dance version of Here to Mars by Coheed and Cambria.

The acoustic version of Latch by Sam Smith is simply amazing!
