First Dance Song Choices!!

Hi Everyone! First time post and it's probably been done a million times, but I'm so curious! What are your choices for your first dance? Does it have any special significance to you and your FH? I love reading everyone's story, they're all so special! Smiley smile

My FH and I are dancing to "Smile" by Uncle Kracker. We met at a wedding and he says he had to "dance like a fool" to impress me so it's been our song ever since!

    "Fly me to the Moon"

    We have different tastes of favorite music, but we both love Sinatra. Plus we wanted to take ballroom dance lessons so this song was a good choice.

    It was classic, and most importantly - short! We're terrible dancers, it would have been super awkward to lurch around the floor for more than a few minutes.

    I don't know what we're doing. FH decided that he wanted to pick the song and surprise me with it. So I won't know till the music starts up that night. I'm super nervous but really excited. Love that he wants to contribute!!

    As the World Falls Down by David Bowie.

    I've loved that song since I was little and since we got engaged (and maybe a bit before if I'm honest!) every time I hear it I picture us together at the wedding.

    FH didn't really know it but didn't have any other suggestions and came around to the idea - he agreed last weekend which makes me very happy!

    Always check things over when it comes to wedding music. We had a small wedding and used an iPod instead of a DJ. A few weeks out, I checked the playlist to find that my husband had added, "Crazy B*tch," "Ridin' Solo," and "Ain't Gonna Bump No More with that Big Fat Woman."

    I'm far from uptight, but it was a little much.
