Finding an Affordable Wedding Dress

For a dress I'm only wearing one night, it kills me that the market seems to have quality gowns starting at $2k+. Any recommendations on feminine vintage inspired dresses for under $900? Looking for something fitted and possibly Chantilly lace (like the picture).

I don't understand why more people don't buy oreowned. It's been worn once and dry cleaned and you will literally be saving thousands.

    There's a few on Amazon

Always look at Goodwill, you will be surprised what you can find!

Be on the look out for clearance sales!

Type used wedding dresses in Google and you will find amazing dresses!

If I were to buy online, I would only do it after looking at the reviews & to make sure it was a price I could 'eat' if the dress was not what I'd expect AND if I had enough time to purchase a dress elsewhere if I had to replace it. If the price & time wasn't something I could gamble on....personally, I wouldn't.

Consignment stores, FB wedding resale sites, off the rack/clearance, etc. I've seen some suggest having a dress made; but honestly....I have no idea if that would be less or not?!? But it would be made per your measurements/eliminates alteration costs.

I got mine from BHLDN. It was on sale, so I only paid about $340 or something like that for it. Their dresses are gorgeous. I was also looking at Milamira on Etsy, and they have some absolutely gorgeous dresses that are reasonably priced (I just ended up deciding to go with the dress I loved that I could actually try on before I bought it). There ARE options out there; you shouldn't have to pay an arm and a leg for your wedding dress (and I was amazed how many unique, inexpensive dresses there are!).

Check consignment shops, consider off the rack, david's bridal and the sale rack at Macy's Bridal salon if you have one in your area.

Try Grace and Garnet in Whittier. Or you can try CocoMelody downtown Los Angeles. The second one has a website.
