Finally got the wedding license!

Ok NOW it feels real!! Poor FH was so nervous he forgot some of the paperwork so we had to leave and come back. The cops standing at the metal detector lightly ribbed him, it was a pretty cute moment. They all cheered and said congratulations on our way out, it oddly felt like a celebration in the whole building. I was expecting it to be more stiff and impersonal.

We’re doing this and it’s almost here!! 🎉

    Yayyyyy! We get to pick ours up in 2 months. We're planning to leave work early to go to the courthouse and then celebrate with a drink afterwards.

    That makes him feel better! We had the legal documents but not the printed paper we needed for the waiting period. He didn’t realize until we were next in line. The cops were like “weren’t you just here?” they got a good laugh out of it.

    Lol heck no but we had to show up so I just threw on a comfy housedress. I probably didn’t look as happy as I felt but FH knows I’m stoked ❤️

    A real fairy princess wouldn’t even get sick, lol it’s not fair. At least the wedding madness has died down so resting is possible now! FH just has to get his suit pressed but that’s his task.
