Congratulations! That must be a huge relief! My fiancé and I recently had to postpone our wedding to a Sunday, and the more that I think about it, the more benefits I see to a Sunday wedding (less expensive and you get the whole weekend to celebrate!). I'm so glad you found a place that you love and now you can dive into the next part of planning with a little more ease!

Our venue actually doesn't charge a site fee for the ceremony or reception & only the food+bar so that's taken care of. My uncle is a musician & offered to do the music for us, I'm not very good with flowers so my Nana is paying for that & arranging them (I feel so lost in this area lol), my younger brother does photography & has offered his services as a gift. Thus far, our family has really come together to help us take care of what felt like large expenses in our budget. Right now, it's time to start looking for dresses.

View Quoted Comment OMG! That's so amazing. You are blessed for sure. Our venue doesn't charge a ceremony or reception fee either but they do charge a rental fee. They also offer food & beverage, decor (free of charge), and DJ so those are taken care of.


We've already hired a wonderful photographer. We got a package deal so we will also have video. All I pretty much have to worry about now is a photo booth, an officiant, cake and possibly flowers.
I got my dress, waiting to order my shoes and we're currently getting prepared to buy our save the dates. There's this gorgeous car we're looking into that we REALLY want to rent but that's to be determined.
