It is absolutely beautiful! It’s also my ringtone for my husband. I literally felt as though I’ve waited that long for such an INCREDIBLE human being. This is my second marriage and we mesh so well!

Ours is a traditional Roman Catholic ceremony. We'll walk down the aisle to Bach's Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring played by the church organist who is also my best friend and my Matron of Honor.

Originally, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring but with the kind of ceremony we're having, we're not actually walking down the aisle. Near the end of the Mass, we'll approach the altar to This Is the Day the Lord Has Made, Psalm 118, sung by our church choir and played by the church organist who is also my MOH. She will then join us at the altar. After the ceremony, she will play and sing Schubert's Ave Maria.

That's "Our Song" - love it! We were actually married 38 years ago and that was our first dance song. Beautiful song!

We're having a Catholic convalidation ceremony this June right at our 38th anniversary. We're not walking down the aisle - we're sitting in the front pew during Sunday Mass and we'll come to the altar right after the choir sings a "meditation hymn" after Communion and just before the final blessing. The hymn will be Michael Joncas' "This Is the Day" - Psalm 118.
