Fighting like crazy before wedding?

Kristin, on October 20, 2017 at 2:32 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 12

We have 2 weeks to go until our wedding. Anyone else fighting like crazy prior to their wedding?

Not really. H had a bit of a cow when the last check cleared, but after that he was fine. We had the money, just hard to see it go. What are you fighting about?

We had one small disagreement, but other than that were very much in love and glowing all the way up until the wedding...can you define fighting? Are these small arguments/disagreements or...?

We bicker, because he thinks he does more than I do when it comes to planning. I am just way more laid back and relaxed than he is about things. lol

Not really. We were just really excited to be done throwing all of our disposable income at it

The most we fought about was his inability to tell me when we are out of whole coffee beans. I'm not drinking that instant coffee swill.

I think I'm echoing PP but it's important to evaluate what you are fighting about. Is it coffee bean level or like values/beliefs/treatment stuff?

Not fighting... but lots of bickering. We were so stressed and on edge. Every day since the wedding though has been absolutely wonderful, if that makes you feel better.

One of my coworkers said a lot of couples fight right before their wedding and it's normal and they just have to get through it and remember why they're getting married

(assuming it's not serious / big / life stuff)

We never fight. It is unfathomable with FH. He just doesn't have the personality for it. He did tell me that he thought the wedding stuff was out of hand, and told me I need to cut it back. So I've been struggling to figure out what can be cut back.

But that was far from a fight, it was a conversation.

Bickering frequently! FH was very upset that my son is wearing something different than the rest of the groomsmen, but that's because my kid is not like the rest ! I had to bend to give my kid the ability to wear something that is comfortable, I wanted my children to all be at our wedding!

Not fighting like crazy but getting short with each other. I swear these final days have been so much more stressful than I anticipated.

Not really fighting. I get stressed easily and vent to him, that's about as far as it goes. At this point we are both just so excited for our day in 2 weeks

We had a minor fight during the budgeting process. Apparently, we have different ways of budgeting but it all worked out in the end.

I'll echo PP by asking what you two are fighting about. If it's minor stuff (toilet seat left up, no one refilled the TP, the dog was left put too long etc. Etc) then it's most likely just stress from the final count down.

I hope it's nothing serious though.
