fh not wearing wedding band?

Not quite the same but H wears his on his right hand instead of his left. Confuses lots of people lol

We plan on getting a “nice” ring for the ceremony but he will 100% wear a silicon one in everyday life.

My husband won’t wear his
1) it’s slightly too big
2) “he has arthritis in the finger” and it hurts to wear it 🤦‍♀️ Just that finger mind you.
Somi bought him a silicone band but it’s too big. I’ll exchmage it this weekend and maybe he’ll wear it.

I think that's sweet that he still wants to wear it and found a way that he's comfortable with. I've never seen my dad wear a ring, or any jewelry/watch for that matter. Jewelry is just not his thing. My parents are highschool sweethearts and have been together almost 40 years. Congrats to you guys!

Not the same, but my FW can’t wear jewelry at work so she’s considering getting a tattooed band.

Mine is wearing his but both of us will be also getting tattoos of our wedding date or initials on our ring finger so if it ever has to be off for whatever reason, witches still know!😉 lol

That’s actually a lot more common than you’d think. I’ve seen many people opt to not wear a ring. Some just don’t like wearing rings, others can’t due to their work. There’s lots of reasons people of either sex don’t wear a wedding ring. Wearing a necklace with the ring or a special pendant on it is a common alternative. I’ve also seen a fair amount of tattoos in place of rings, but personally I think that’s asking for bad luck!

My FH said he wants to do the same, but I said it will make me feel like he isn't proud to wear the ring. Plus, I paid for his band and am planning on getting it engraved so I really want him to wear it. I think you should try to convince him to wear it for a week or 2 and see if he gets used to it

My husband refused to wear jewelry of any sort. Mainly because he would constantly be having to take it off for his work as any jewelry is very dangerous. He decided on a ring tattoo instead. He got it two days before our elopement.

If he wants to wear the ring on necklace around his neck, I think that's a good compromise.

My dad never really wore his ring, i think.

My FH doesn't plan on wearing a ring but I am getting him a silicone ring for the ceremony. If he changes his mind later on, we can get him something nicer. It doesn't bother me at all.
