FH and video games

We have every console worth owning all the way back to the 80's with the Nintendo. We play a lot of games together, lately its been super Mario on the Wii.

Right now DH is into Batman Arkham City on the Xbox360 and is SO excited for Skyrim to come out on the 11th he's already offering to buy me things to keep me occupied while he is in his own little world. Lol :p

Both my FH and I love to play video games. He actually develops games. Neither of us are into first-player shooter games and try to avoid them like the plague with a few exceptions. He recently finished Portal 2 and I haven't played much since LA Noire was released but I am so looking forward to Skyrim and Assassin's Creed Revelations.

My FH plays Madden mostly but he also plays COD and a whole gaggle of different games. I love to watch him play and me and him usually co-op on a lot of games. I have no problem with it.

Mine plays everyday. Mostly NHL09, UFC10, Madden10, red dead redemption and battlefield. I don't mind him playing most of the time except when we are watching our shows and he gets bored with it and starts playing NHL09. He could be doing plenty of worse things and I still get to spend time with him.

My FH rarely plays video games. I think the last time was 5 months ago and it was LA Niore. I actually really liked it and we played it together.

I am sooooo thankful FH rarely plays. My ex scarred me from dating a gamer. He played video games all the time. He would cancel dates with me and I wouldn't see him for several days if a new game came out. He would stay up to 3 or 4 in the morning every night playing games. He always had his portable PSP and/or DS to play at work and even in the bathroom! UGH Call me snobby but after my EX I wanted a man who did not play video games.

It is so weird Cavan but your FH looks a lot like an ex-BF of mine. He also develops video games for a living.

He plays, and I do too. Although, he plays more than I do because I wait until the baby is asleep and by that point I'm way too tired to get much into it.

((Speaking of games, I am soooo excited for Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.... 10 more days!!))
