Hi! We were able to reschedule for February. Our date is 02/02/2022. I pray we finally have our dream wedding. We are now eloping to Jamaica and doing everything at the beautiful Sandals Royal Plantation resort. I didn't want a beach wedding because it doesn't fit our theme and my gown is not sand appropriate ( I can see my train just dragging sand with it like a wake on a boat. Lol!). We will marry in a Victorian style Gazebo that is on a terrace that juts out towards the ocean. Our theme is Victorian, obviously. My gown is a very full pale blush ballgown in a shade named pink champagne. Since we are now going to Jamaica, we went with real touch flowers instead of real. I'll attach our color palette. I've attached pics of my gown, our venue, color palette, custom invitations, my day of wedding purse, my Groom's attire, our cake topper ( we now have two other fur babies, but the topper people are closed), my day of makeup look, and I can't remember what else. I'm recovering from covid if I'm a bit slow on replies. I just wanted you to know you aren't being ignored. I'm still sleeping about 16 hours a day.

What is your theme? Where are you getting married? Have you had to reschedule? What are your colors? What do plan on having your bouquet and boutonnière's look like? I'd love to see gown pics if anyone is willing to share. At this point my gown is no longer top secret. ha ha How are you wearing your hair? Please share anything you wish.
We are all getting close to that 90 day mark and I'm getting nervous. I still have my veil to finish. So much was put on the back burner with us having to reschedule and then my having a severe case of covid. I look forward to meeting each of you. 🥰❤

Thanks Rosie! You are so sweet!! My skirt is huge. It's almost as large as a gown from the 1860's, so that will be plenty of skirt to deal with (I hope there is no issue getting it on the plane)! Otherwise, I'd definitely let my seamstress do something fun. I have to walk up steps to get to that gazebo. I pray I don't trip with my bouquet. That was my fiancé's one request was that I wear a ballgown with a huge skirt. I can't wait to see yours.

I took a few pics of my blusher so you can hopefully see the detail and the delicate color. Monitor's are so different. The last pic is of course how it will fall over my face. Also, did a close-up of my crystals and pearls. The crystals are in vintage rose and clear. Not sure that shows.

I love your nail ideas. I was thinking of something along those lines, too. Big surprise. ❤ ha ha I LOVE all of your ideas!!
Ok, this 8 month old huge Boxer puppy, named Beauchamp in the French pronunciation, needs to go outside. If I've left anything out, I'll write more soon! Oh! Remind me to show you my cake inspiration for the resort. Chat soon!!

Oh the veil is beautiful. I considered having a pearl veil, but thought it might clash with the ones in my hair or just be a bit much, so I'm leaning towards plain. Yours is so gorgeous!

I hope you feel better soon. Having delta would be very difficult for you . I got married about 17 1/2 years ago and want to do a vow renewal in 3 years for our 20th wedding anniversary. I have already picked out two dresses that I can't wait to wear.

Thank you for the vote of confidence!! I appreciate your thoughts so very much. I'm not sure if I will, but I think I might. Our formal reception will be the day before Halloween and I grew up near New Orleans. So we are thinking of having our guests wear a Venetian style mask (a throw back to Mardi Gras & Halloween). Not all night, but for a few pics. Also, have a Cinderella theme for the reception. Here's our reception cake.

Yes, I'd love to wear my gown and myself and my groom dance a Vinnese Waltz, the same one from CINDERELLA with Lily James. So here's hoping. Thanks, again!! ❤

Thank you. I can't wait to finish it. I'm going to be very Fou-Fou for our wedding. Since my bodice is heavily encrusted with pearls and crystals, I felt it was the right direction. My skirt and cathedral length train has no decoration, except the sparkly veil.

You are going to look so timeless and perfect!!!! There is absolutely nothing wrong with a gorgeous plain veil. I'm so excited for you and your plans.
Thanks on my enourmas baby!! He's going to be my future service dog, but he has to grow up first. He's so strong and plays a bit too rough, but he's just a sweetheart. I saw a bridal portrait where the bride had her Boxer lying on her train. Maybe by the time we have our formal reception, he'll be calm enough for me to get a pic like that! I'd be so special.

Thank you on your kind words concerning the Delta variant. It's one of the worst illnesses I've ever had. I'm still having a rough time. I pray it doesn't last too much longer.

Thank you so much! I love them both! Green is my favourite colour so I'm excited to see it when it arrives as I bought it online. The other one I bought at a second hand shop so i got it cheap but it comes from a really good brand so I am happy about that too. So far I would like to have a ceremony near the beach and then photos on the beach and a sit-down dinner at a restaurant over-looking the water.

Yes, cute, goofy, very strong and strong willed at 75lbs. I love him to pieces, though. 😊

I could order the glass slipper before covid. I've not checked lately. Hopefully it's something they still carry.
