Hi! We were able to reschedule for February. Our date is 02/02/2022. I pray we finally have our dream wedding. We are now eloping to Jamaica and doing everything at the beautiful Sandals Royal Plantation resort. I didn't want a beach wedding because it doesn't fit our theme and my gown is not sand appropriate ( I can see my train just dragging sand with it like a wake on a boat. Lol!). We will marry in a Victorian style Gazebo that is on a terrace that juts out towards the ocean. Our theme is Victorian, obviously. My gown is a very full pale blush ballgown in a shade named pink champagne. Since we are now going to Jamaica, we went with real touch flowers instead of real. I'll attach our color palette. I've attached pics of my gown, our venue, color palette, custom invitations, my day of wedding purse, my Groom's attire, our cake topper ( we now have two other fur babies, but the topper people are closed), my day of makeup look, and I can't remember what else. I'm recovering from covid if I'm a bit slow on replies. I just wanted you to know you aren't being ignored. I'm still sleeping about 16 hours a day.

What is your theme? Where are you getting married? Have you had to reschedule? What are your colors? What do plan on having your bouquet and boutonnière's look like? I'd love to see gown pics if anyone is willing to share. At this point my gown is no longer top secret. ha ha How are you wearing your hair? Please share anything you wish.
We are all getting close to that 90 day mark and I'm getting nervous. I still have my veil to finish. So much was put on the back burner with us having to reschedule and then my having a severe case of covid. I look forward to meeting each of you. 🥰❤

Rosie, I promise I'll respond soon! I love ALL of your pics. Gorgeous.

People don't understand why someone who loves pink as much as me did get a pink engagement ring. My only answer is I wanted a stone this color. It's my hearts desire and since it's such a pretty teal, or bluish-green, it looks lovely with pink. And it's set in rose gold. That's sorta pink.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply but I hope you are feeling a little better each week. It's terrible how much this illness has taken from you. Smiley sad I like your ring though - it's a beautiful and unique style and colour Smiley smile.

Oh I can't believe I didn't see this! It's gorgeous. I love that beautiful stone and I totally understand why you chose it. And as you said, rose gold is totally a type of pink!

Hi Fiona!! Sorry, I, too, have been absent. Thank you so much. This illness is the most horrible thing I've ever had. I just pray I don't catch it for a 4th time. I'm still having horrible after-effects. I do have a medication that will help that I shall begin soon! I know it'll perk me up. I pray you are well. Please stay in touch! xoxo

Dearest Rosie, I pray this message isn't too late. I know you'll have a busy week. I'm so excited for you two!! I just heard that Australia welcomed its first visitors from out of the Country TODAY. YAY!! I pray that allows all of your guests to attend. I know your wedding day will be absolutely gorgeous. Just know you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Look forward to hearing from you, when you have time, after all of your special festivities. Sending lots of love to you!! xoxo

We don't really have plans. Montgomery has become very ill. He was recently diagnosed with diabetes and he's not doing well. I'm so worried about him. Main issue is neuropathy. It's attacking his thigh muscles, now, and he's having trouble walking. Just don't know what we'll do. He's very proud. He may have to begin using a cane or a walker. He's an ex-jock and deep underwater saturation diver ( he's been over 1000 ft, hard to imagine). So he's not handling these issues well. I pray we have a miracle.

Please enjoy your day. Don't let anyone, or anything, mar it. Dying to see your finished gown with your pink netting. It's going to be absolutely FABULOUS!! Do hope your veil is just as you wished, too. CONGRATULATIONS!!! ❤❤❤

Not too late at all! thank you so much, and I am so sorry to hear that Montgomery is not well. I will definitely share pictures as soon as I am able, and I am sending all my best wishes for both of you to be well. You have had such a dreadfully difficult time lately, and I am wishing you increased health and so much joy as 2022 progresses.

Hi Smiley smile How has this week been? How are you feeling? Any better this week? It would have been Rosie's wedding this weekend so I am keen to see her photos and hear her stories. Hope you are both getting better and that the medication is starting to work for you Smiley smile

Hi dear Fiona!! Yes, I, too, have been thinking about Rosie all weekend. I'm sure her wedding was beautiful. I feel absolutely horrible. I don't know what I'm going to do. I asked a good friend of mine if he could come stay with me: someone to take care of the pets, run errands, heat soup, or whatever, but he's not able to come. Thank you for thinking of me. Big hug!! xoxo

Our new date is April 19, 2023. Montgomery said he didn't wish some clandestine affair that wasn't very special, or memorable. I'd rescheduled Jamaica for just our honeymoon last October because I thought we'd be well enough to marry here, then go to the Caribbean. We are both still ill. I'm sure we'll be on the mend before the end of this year. The Lord is good! Now, we are rescheduling for another WeddingMoon. You'd think we'd give up, but we are determined! Lol! xoxo

Hi dearest Fiona. I'm still very much under the weather. Montgomery and I made a decision last night. Please read what I wrote Rosie. I know I could paste it, but you are so sweet I knew you'd not mind. Just wanted to give you both our intentions. Take care. Thinking of you. xoxo

Aww, congratulations on setting a new date! I'm so sorry you are still unwell. What a year you two have had. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting the day you'd dreamed of, and waiting until it is possible and nothing less!
