February 2020 Brides

We chose 02/29/2020 because it's right before my nursing school break, so we will actually be able to have a honey moon. We live in Southern California so it will be less hott!!! Plus with all my nursing school cost, we have a little more time to pay😁

Leap year leap day for us!! February 29,2020!

We love being unique and we wanted a unique date and I love it. Our rings will be engraved with this and even though the date will be different on the non leap years, it is okay it is a number unique and special to us!!

Love it leap year weddings!! We wanted something unique, my fiance always wanted a unique date like 2-22-2020 but my best friend MOH it is her birthday and we have a trip already planned and then we also wanted it either november or February and everything played out perfect to land last weekend of February which ended up leap day ! so that unique number definitely came in handy.

I originally picked February 29th, but he wanted something sooner like November of 2019. The venue we choose was COMPLETELY BOOKED in November, so we chose a date in October, but then that got booked, so we choose another, but that got booked as well! Safe to say, February 29th ended up being just right! ❣️

Feb 29th, we thought it wasn't as common but is starting to look like it is more and more. It's ok though. So excited to have a unique anniversary! Also, the timing gives us a little more to plan for.

I'm a February 29, 2020 future bride. We chose the year first as hindsight is 2020, then tried looking for a month where we weren't already inundated with family birthdays, anniversaries or any other holidays. I ended up in February & then realized it was a leap year with leap day on a Saturday & it just felt like I was being led to that day. So here we are. We know ours will be a small wedding with hopes that the reception will be able to be at our new house (we should know better in the next 6 months if that will actually be an option).

Whoa, cool! Leap year didn't even come to my mind or 2/02 lol. We chose Sunday, 2/16/2020. It's a Sunday, holiday weekend and we saved so much money by having a winter wedding + having it on a Sunday.

We got our date! 2-1-2020 we wanted to do 2-2 but because it was on a Sunday we decided against it, plus we liked the simple meaning of 2/1 as the 2 are now becoming 1!

I'm wanting Feb 2, 2020 in Michigan for a winter wonderland wedding. I love snowflakes and the elegance of it. Nervous for those that have to travel is the only thing. So hard to decide!! He was thinking Leap Year day buuut I want our anniversary every year not on a day that don't exist every year. Lol. Sounded cool at first but I'm a very sentimental person and want our day to exist and not every 4 years. He understands. Haha.

I think my first post on this topic did not go through, just in case I keep this one short.

Our date is 2/22/2020. However didnt realize this was leap year. Anyway, I do have option "B" date just in case and it was 9/5/2020. We chose February due to future hubby birthday month and if we went with this month then I get to choose venue. So a great compromise! However, living in M.A. the weather in Carolina's will still be cool for us, so I am okay with this part.

Ours is 2/29/2020. We were going to do 2/22/2020, then our friend was like what about leap day. At first we laughed and then the venue we wanted was booked on the 22nd so, leap day it is❤
