What are you doing for favors? I'm tossing back and forth with some ideas but I love the idea of an edible favor. We do have a preztel/coffee/hot cocoa cart for guest when they leave at our venue, but I want something they can take home. I was thinking candy maybe in mason jars or just cute...

Any thoughts?

We're doing skeleton key bottle openers. I'm putting wings on them so they're like the flying keys from Harry Potter.

We're doing a treat bar with homemade cookies (3 types) and apple cider caramels. I actually got the recipe for the caramels from a WW member!

We'll have cute bakery bags (got in bulk on Amazon) that we're going to stamp with a cute message like "Love is sweet." or something, then let people take what they want.

We're giving bottle openers made to look like antique keys. They come with a pillow box that we will fill with trick or treat size bags of Skittles. It's useful, edible, and funny with the little rainbow nod.

Were doing a candy buffet. Were not doing it color coordinated though. We decided we'd rather people actually like the candy lol. So we picked our childhood favorites. This is the mock up/trial run of how our candy bar will be set up.

We also have a wooden box with kraft paper bags closed by mini clothespins for guests to fill and take with them. Im looking for some cute personalized stickers that I can put on the bags, but cant find any large enough. The search continues.

Oh, and forgive the sign, its not quite finished yet.

Thank you! FH loves Harry Potter and I decided to add some random elements within the decorations for him. I'm really excited about it!

That's really cute! My FH and I ordered stemless wine glasses with our names and the date of the wedding. We are going to have a candy buffet at the end of the night so they can fill their glasses with candy. The place where I ordered bulk candy sent us some candies that would be available in December so that we could try them and see what we liked. We are going to order candies in black, white, and red and also get some m&m's in those colors.

I love the edible idea. I suggest making yourself a price-point per person. Mason jars may get really pricey really fast. You could also just have some cute little bags at the cart so they can take 'doggy bags' home as favors.

I am planning on doing a sweets/candy table and favors!! To me, it's not the same thing.

I'm getting the candy from Oriental Trading Company, they have great prices!! The cake balls, pretzels, ect. will be made by a family friend.
My favors will be personalized shot glasses from Etsy, I'm having 106 guests and I can get 108 for $98.00. I was pretty pleased with the prices!!
I haven't decided on wedding party gifts. I can get these really cute bracelets, that are a silver bow and it says, "thanks for helping us tie the knot", for the bridesmaids, for $5 each from Oriental Trading Company. I'm probably going with those. Still thinking about groosmen.

Candy in mason jars would be so cute! Your wedding being in October you could do a lot. Im letting people take home cookies, magnets are also a cool idea, everyone uses magnets.

We have an AMAZING chocolate shop locally that everyone just dies over so we decided on that. They’ll have an assortment of chocolates in a gold box with a gold ribbon and inside will be our monogram and wedding date.

We are doing chocolate covered coffee beans in these adorable pyramid boxes for ours! They also double as weights for our escort cards that are tied to them (outdoor wedding, needed some way to weigh out cards down)! We filled our kids’ favors with gummies instead 😊

Favors are always the hardest part. However, I think your favor should tie in to what your reception is about. You can pretty much see that from the different ideas you're getting. So we have a travel themed reception because we love to travel. So our favor are little gift boxes that look like vintage suitcases. They will get them at the end on the way out the door which will say "Baggage Claim." The only problem I'm having is figuring out what to put in it. I was thinking peanuts but they don't even give out peanuts on the planes any longer. So maybe a cookie shaped like a plane or some candy. But whatever you choose, let it be something you will be happy with.
