Favors

What are you doing for favors? I'm tossing back and forth with some ideas but I love the idea of an edible favor. We do have a preztel/coffee/hot cocoa cart for guest when they leave at our venue, but I want something they can take home. I was thinking candy maybe in mason jars or just cute personalized bags. Any thoughts?

I think the cart is enough especially since you have it as they are leaving. Edible favors are best but people tend to leave favors behind

I feel like I should have more than that for my guests to take home something more than a pretzel. I just dont want to go crazy and like u said, they get left behind. Ugh I'm stuck lol

I'm just ordering the proper sized envelopes off Amazon and buying the tickets a week or so before the wedding. We have a jar that we are saving pennies in.

We did glass coasters! I put them in clear bags and made a cute tag that says “something old, something new. Something from us, to hold your brew! Thank you for sharing our first meal as Mr. and Mrs. ...” we order them in bulk for super cheap!

I like your cart idea! Ideally I'd love to give candles as favors (customized 3-wick candles off of Etsy) but that could easily be very expensive. The cheapest candles I see are about $12, and I might be able to negotiate a lower price since I'll be buying at least 50 (one per household, not person), but that would still be several hundreds of dollars.
My next idea is some of those local honeys, jams, and spreads you get at the little road stop stores in the mountains. We will be having a mountain wedding, but I'm also trying to steer away from the rustic vibe, and that might be counterproductive.
So I don't know... maybe a packet of heirloom pumpkin seeds 🤷🏼‍♀️

Candles were my first choice but the cost was more than I wanted and I would make them myself but who needs more work when planning a wedding! I did honey jars for our engagement party I'll attach some photos for you.

The envelopes for $1 lotto tickets. If you search Amazon by lotto ticket envelopes, they show right up in multiple color options.

    I love the cart idea.
i really wanted a favor that had pears in it, as it matches our hashtag. We originally were going to get stemless wine glasses, in the perfect pears, but after reading some of the forums & talking to some of my friends, I scratched that idea.
I recently found perfect pair (customizable) candy bars wrappers on Etsy. We are going to buy Hershey chocolate bars w/o the labels & put our custom labels on.

Our favor is a shot glass that is doubling as the seating assignment for each guest. Each glass will have a flag coming out of it with the guest name and table number.

Candy in mason jars would be good! We're having 3 favors lol. Our edible one is homemade strawberry jelly in mason jars. My FH's grandmother offered to make it for everyone, and I was really excited because her homemade jellies are delicious!

I'm doing sachets of lavender either tied to the chair sash or to the menus at each plate with a cute note. And having those mints in the purple, green, blue and yellow only. My theme is vintage industrial and my colours are lavender and mint. So they all go great.

I am making homemade s'mores trail mix for my favor. I found cute personalized tags on Etsy that say "S'more Love" with our names and wedding date.
