Favor tags as escort cards VS. seating chart

Would love some opinions! Did you use favor tags as escort cards or a seating chart? Which is easier? I'm having trouble finding favor tags with table numbers that I can personalize. Any advice would be appreciated!

My friend just did this at her wedding! It worked out really well. She just went in and customized her tags herself through Microsoft word and printed them out at home on card stock.

I did a poster framed with everyone's name and table labeled on it. Favors will be at the place setting
