Well I have a bunch of questions on the head before song suggesting just because I am largely surprised over you choosing a boyfriend of mom than Dad or a relative.

One song that pops into my head is He Didn't Have to Be by Brad Paisley. It's a country song but it really thanks a man for being something that he didn't have to be. Which is a father. But I don't know your relationship with the said boyfriend so I don't know if it's a good suggestion.

Well my father has been out of the pic since i was in 3rd grade now 24..... my mother has been with the said bf for many many years and is the closest thing to a father ive ever had but there are no intentions of marriage for them.... i was looking for something that doesnt include marriage or anything like that.... as for a relative we done speak...

Well maybe the Brad Paisley song would work after all! Haha

I think the perfect song would be "When I Needed You Most" which you can hear and buy at www.weddingmusiccentral.com. It's a tribute to someone important in your life but not a father or relative.

Well to be honest, if he's that much of a father figure to you just pick whatever song you like as a father daughter dance song. Daddy's little girl, stealing cinderella, butterfly kisses, anyrhing. If you pick something that calls him daddy it might mean more to him, because it shows him what you really feel for him. That being said, I do like the Brad Paisley song too though, it's got good meaning to it.
