Family Listed in Wedding Programs?

serenity523, on June 28, 2014 at 3:17 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4

Hi all. So getting married in two days and I'm printing out the programs that I made. I asked my mom to look them over (I wrote "formal inviations to follow" on our STDs >.<). And she just came in complaining that I made no mention of my brother on the program. The only people listed on the programs are the parents, wedding party, and the officiant. My brother is not in the wedding party (nor is my sister, but she's not even coming to my wedding so screw her). Do you think it's necessary to list family members who aren't in the wedding party in the program (which I've really only made because we're having a Catholic ceremony and none of FH's family is Catholic)?

I don't think it is a big deal. Your brother probably won't care. You have 2 days left! You have more important things to worry about. Congratulations! Little things will probably be at of place throughout the entire event, but they won't change the anything. Don't let little things get to you.

Totally not necessary. I'm only listing the BP which consists of a BM and MOH. I'm old, so my parents don't have to be listed. We will probably make mention of FH's parents because they're no longer with us.

The only people I've seen listed on programs that may not be part of the wedding party is grandparents. I haven't seen anything with brothers or sisters that agent in the wedding party though.
