Fall Wedding Favors

Alyssa, on November 18, 2019 at 3:18 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 12
Hey everyone!

My wedding is taking place in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on November 14th 2020. I’m looking for suggestions on cheap fall wedding favors, that aren’t going to be left or thrown out by most guests (such as matches, candy, or bottle openers) At first, even though it was more expensive, I was thinking of fleece blankets (1 per couple). My wedding ceremony/reception will be held in a open pavilion and it might be cold. I’m only having max 70 guests attending, so it shouldn’t be too bad.
Any thoughts on what your fall wedding favors are going to be or what they were; especially favors that help the guests when it’s cold!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Happy wedding planning! Smiley smile

I actually love the idea of blankets. You have some time to budget out and order them when they have a sale. You might be able to contact the vendors and get you a special price for it. I love it! Another great idea is s’mores if you plan on having a bonfire at your reception. You can set up s'mores bags to go as well as you can’t go wrong with it.

How about gloves? They're not expensive.

We are thinking of doing hot chocolate tubes for ours. Super simple and cute.

That’s a great idea too! Only problem with that is getting a size that fits everyone, I did also think of hand warmers ...

I read somewhere about a bride that gave out blankets and the donated the ones left behind to a local dog shelter. I think thats sweet.

Other then that, maybe mini Tennessee whiskey or BBQ sauces or maple syrup

I LOVE wedding favors and always keep/use them. Gloves are an awesome idea; I use those cheap gloves all the time. You also could consider warm socks, a scarf, a blanket, earmuffs, a candle, a mug, or a thermos. I do think steering away from putting your name and date on it might be a good idea--instead, put a symbol or other design on it that will remind people of your special day.

Stick with edibles (cookies, chocolate, jam, etc) unless you don't mind having lots of leftovers

We are getting married in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area too. We are doing small boxes of local, handmade chocolates/candies from the area.
