Fall brides with backyard weddings

How are you doing your reception? Renting a rent? I’m thinking of plan B since it seems like states are starting to shut down again. I thought about my in-law’s beautiful backyard and deck BUT it would be too cool to stay out during fall in Ohio, we have unpredictable weather.

I’m still stuck with my venue lol so until they tell me we have to shut down and postpone is when I would get married with just immediate families/close family members only.

We’re having a backyard wedding (for now) on 10/10/20 in Texas. The weather is so unpredictable so we’ve rented a tent and full flooring to help with any bugs in the grass

I may have to go that route. How much was it for you? If I have a backyard wedding it’ll be like 40-50 people.

We are doing the whole wedding and reception at my fiance's family's pond and yard/field. Luckily this was already the plan BEFORE covid threw everything out of whack, but we are still hanging in there and planning to go through with it in September! Anyway, we went with a tent. They can get pretty pricey if you're factoring in a fance floor at all, and you also need to consider that you may need to consider portable toilets if you're doing outdoor as well.

Yes! If you go to their FB page, Ryan Holland Photography, they posted a pic this morning of the couple in the outdoor area. They had another one on their “Stories” last night, but it’s gone now. 😕

If you're really serious about this (or worried about covid ruining your plans) start reaching out to tent rental companies now and see if you can find one that offers heaters.

This popped up on my feed! Lol this is my plan B if we shut down again! I would do day time and provide heated lamps if it was too cool... and they have everything arches, tables, linen, chairs, etc.

We rented a 20x30 tent with tables and chairs for a little under $700 (which is really good). Most places were around $1000. Our parents insisted on getting full flooring throughout the whole tent so that’s costing us another $1200. If we just went with a dance floor then it would have been an additional $400 on top of the $1000
