Facebook engagement announcement

I posted this picture about a week after he proposed. I'm not a big user of social media, so I've stayed quiet since then.

I first changed my status and then posted this photo up with a cute caption. I got a lot of congratulations and well wishes and one person said don't forget my invite but that was about it. Other than that I haven't posted much else about it or posted our wedding date.

I disabled Facebook last November because I had a friend (now ex-friend) tell me I wasn't a good friend because i want liking all her status updates and pictures. Since then I've finished my masters, bought a house, and gotten engaged, and nobody knows unless I have told them directly.

I just changed my relationship status lol then posted some epics later

I announced my engagement by posting this picture and "I said yes!" I had a couple people ask about invites at the time but not a huge deal. It was the easiest way to tell all my friends and family so that's what I did.

No Facebook, FW posted a video on our Instagram

I posted a picture of my finger and the ring saying it's officially I am going to be Mrs.. and I got one of old high school friend thinking she is invited even though I have not talked to her years

I did a long drawn out sappy post and then tagged pictures of us right after he had proposed haha

I posted a few pictures because he proposed during a family photo shoot. Nothing else has since been posted and it's been a year now.

We posted pics of the engagement party which was a surprise to me and how FH proposed to me. My family and close friends were present so since they all knew we proceeded to post photos of the proposal on FB that same night. Im sure some ppl invited themselves then but it didn't matter not like I had a guest list yet. Congrats on the masters and engagement.

My friends and family were there and they announced it over Facebook and posted the pictures they took, with our permission of course. It was also on the news!

I posted this picture to Facebook saying "Two less fish in the sea. I SAID YES!" Since we were at Clearwater Beach, FL

We posted a picture and changed the relationship status two or three days after it actually happened. That gave us time to tell everyone close to us. I posted things intermittently throughout the planning process and never got any kind of comments about being invited, etc.

We were in Ireland so I texted our immediate families and then posted a picture of us getting engaged on Facebook, I have a huge family so it's easier to spread news that way haha

I haven't received a single where's my invite and I don't expect any

Never did...

Anyone who need to know found out in person or when they got a STD.

I don't post any of my personal life on social media. I would get a ton of people I haven't seen in ages asking for an invite.
