Facebook engagement announcement

I didn't put anything on Facebook at all because I don't want the "where's my invite???" crap.

I haven't posted anything about my wedding to social media. Don't want the drama or hurt feelings.

I did. Put a picture of us showing off the ring.

This picture and nothing else. So far no one has asked for an invite.

I posted this picture with a caption saying "A snow shoeing excursion turned into a proposal"

I posted a picture of his ring the night I proposed, and I've been 100% silent on FB since then. Still, one couple has asked about invites, but backed down when I didn't agree immediately.

I posted this pic in my instragram.. i dont like facebook that much.....

I just posted a picture of my ring (photo below) and captioned it with "I can't wait to start this new chapter with my best friend"

I haven't received any messages asking for an invite or anything like that.

We announced engagement but that was over a year ago. No tried to auto invite on social media and have not posted anything about wedding since

My friends and family were at my proposal so they announced it for us.

I just said "I should go hiking more often"

I posted a photo of FH and I after we talked to our VIPs over the phone/video chat to share the good news. None of our family (and many of our friends) don't live local, so FB became a way to get the news out to people other than our immediate family.

As a side note, haven't had any wedding related posts since (might do one or two about being excited as we get closer), but no one has asked if they're invited.

My DH proposed on Christmas - so he posted a picture of my ring and simply said Merry Christmas

We just updated our relationship status and it let us add a picture to the "life event." We used the same picture I use as my avatar, because it was taken shortly after he proposed, but doesn't include the ring.

We met in college but grew apart then got back together, so we got engaged about 9 years after we met. He proposed at our college, so for our Facebook announcement we took a picture in front of his fraternity house and said "You see kids, dreams can come true at fraternity houses."

We just changed our relationship status to engaged after we told all our close friends and family in person. No ring pictures or anything (I personally don't like them haha)
