Face masks for wedding guests?

Kelsey, on July 9, 2020 at 10:32 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 26
Hey all! Does anyone have any wedding pictures on what it looks like with your guests wearing masks?

I’m trying to decide what type of masks to supply as favors. So far we can’t decide if we’re going to do just plain masks of our wedding colors (grey, emerald, burgundy, and navy) or do those cute “spread love not germs” face masks that are all over Etsy now a days.
Also: this gif is how I’ve been handling the world lately. tenor.gif

Don't do polyester ones. They collapse when you breathe. Mine look great, just not ideal. This is the wrong name. My fiance is not Alan, but this is the gistFace masks for wedding guests? 1

I would probably do plain masks in your wedding colors instead of ones with sayings or anything. Your guests would be more likely to use them after the fact (for the duration of the pandemic at least). While the personalized things are cute, people may be less likely to ever re-use them.

This might be a shot in the dark, but I know David's Bridal has some for sale right now and they're cute. Might be expensive, but I'm unsure. I love some of the ideas above though! Too cute and clever. Good luck! 😊

I’d select a mask in one of your wedding colors and not get a logo that’s large and distracting. Prior to postponing, I was looking into custom masks. My preference was toward customizing something small on one side of the mask (nothing specific to our wedding so that the mask could be used again). I wouldn’t want a large design across the entire front of the mask.. I’m sure you can somewhat envision looking at a group of people together with large, busy logos covering their faces. That might be a bit much at a wedding.

I agree with some of the comments and wouldn’t personalize. It will only make your photos even busier with logos or names, and people won’t wear them after the fact. I am debating what to do with masks as well. Everyone here in Virginia already has masks and hopefully by September maybe things will be less... I don’t know anymore. I’m feeling like you are LOL

We got bulk cloth plain black masks. I’ll be buying stickers from Etsy with some saying. Maybe our name and date, idk. That way it’s not permanent and they’re stuck with a mask of our name lol

    I bought these:

and am making our own iron on decals - the masks are PERFECT from someone to sew a logo or iron onto.

I’m in Virginia too and while our wedding is small (60 people total), the majority of our guests are coming from other states.
I’m toying with using some of the leftover fabric from my alterations to make a mask that matches my dress lol

Also, thank you Margaret for the link. It’s saved to a shopping list now, just in case!

We just bought solid white ones that are disposable. I wouldn’t want ones with a bunch of text of them just for picture purposes.

Yea, I think that might be the best idea. I definitely don’t wanna waste a lot of money on something they’ll only use once.
