Experience with a Virtual Planner?

Hey everyone,

I haven't been on here for awhile after getting married (Super excited to be back!), but my sister is recently engaged and she is exploring options for a wedding planner. Just curious has anyone worked with a virtual planner? If so how was your experience, what was helpful and what didn't go so well? I have never heard of it, but she has just mentioned that she had seen a few online. Thoughts??

    I haven’t heard of a virtual planner. My coordinator is not local because I’m getting married in another county. We have only met once and most of a our correspondence is via email with the occasional phone call. So I can’t imagine it being too different.

    A virtual planner? I have never heard of this, but I’m intrigued lol. We had a planner and I’m honestly not sure how it would have worked without us being able to sit down and meet face to face. Maybe that is the OCD in me? I guess with FaceTime and all the digital technology, it could work though!

    Hey Page! Welcome back Smiley smile What do you mean by virtual planner? Do you mean the planner is in a different location and she will never be able to meet them in person? Will this be a destination wedding?
