Ever bought a wedding dress online from sites like d-daydress.com?

Check out the site first. I started to order mine online and started researching the websites and quickly changed my mind. I read some bad reviews about certain sites. Just because they have a beautiful picture of the dress does not mean that's what you will get. Just do some really deep research. Read all of the return policies, etc for that site.

I did not, because I don't trust overseas dress makers. I'll just leave this here as an example why:

I ordered my dress online and it turned out great. I was very hesitant but my FH was like well order it now and if it doesn't look good we will budget for a different one. I ordered mine from Snowy Bridal l. I sent my measurements except for the length and that's the only thing that needs to be done(hemmed).

I'm a freelance vlogger and I review clothing websites on a weekly basis. I've had far too many horrible experiences with overseas websites. Usually the clothing either looks nothing like the picture or it never arrives. I advise against it. You can find very affordable secondhand dresses on websites like Stillwhite, OnceWed, NearlyNewlyWed, and PreownedWeddingDresses.com. Please please pleaseeeee don't order your dress from some overseas wholesale site!

You get what you pay for. These cheap shops source from substandard labor practices and rip designs off of real designers, which is crazy unethical and shady. If your comfortable with that, cool. Then you get to deal with catastrophic customer service and a total crap shoot of a finished product.

I got a reception dress online. Big mistake! It looks nothing like the picture and the material was terribly cheap.

Don't ever order online unless you KNOW the site is legit.

I am definitely against overseas shops.

My friend bought her dress from overseas and everyone I talked to said that it looked really cheap (even though she thought it was great). It didn't fit her well at all either.

I will be ordering online, but it's from shops that are in the States and I fully trust them. Research and reviews go a long way!

EDIT: My dress is not a "bargain deal." Low cost dresses like that usually don't turn out as great as they look in the pictures.

I bought bridesmaid dresses here. Everything about this process was amazing and I will absolutely buy from here again given the chance! The price was great for the material, well worth it!

I bought my wedding dress off of Amazon from cocomelody. The dress was $180, they asked for my measurements... The only problem I had with them was that while they posted on Amazon that my dress was coming in FedEx (and a FedEx shipping number) the dress arrived DHL. I will admit to having freakout moments because I didn't know where my dress was!

Through all of that though, my dress arrived, beautiful and made out of great materials.

I bought mine online jjhouse.com it's amazing and good quality it cost me a little over 200 a dress like that from a designer would of cost me 1000's

My daughter ordered her wedding dress from D-Day Dress. She ordered an IVORY dress and when it came in, it was clearly WHITE!!! She emailed them several times and attached pictures of the dress next to a white shirt and the dress next to the ivory wedding flowers she already has. The only response she got was that the factory workers said the dress was ivory, so they hope we can accept the dress. After multiple other emails to them, they still have yet to respond. They ruined what was supposed to be a wonderful experience buying the perfect dress for her wedding!!! I would DEFINITELY not buy from this place!!! You won't get what you ordered, they won't respond and they will totally rip you off!!!
