Evening Wedding timelines? Advice!

Laura, on January 11, 2020 at 12:10 AM Posted in Planning 0 3

Our wedding can't start before 6:30 pm. We are doing pictures before - but what do timelines look like for this kind of wedding? How long should we set aside for photos before the ceremony? First look? Photos at the chapel? We are having a reception at a restaurant after - with dinner and cake only.

Does anyone have suggestions?? Or care to share your timelines?

I have no idea why it formatted my comment that way, but that’s obnoxious.

If you are willing to do first looks before hand then you can do all but 30 minutes of your and your spouse before the ceremony, That's what our photographer advised. Our wedding starts at 430 but we will start pictures around 1-2 and do some of our pictures during the cocktail hour.
