Etsy Wedding Invitations

Hi everyone! I've started the hunt for my wedding invites and am looking to get some opinions on ordering invites off of Etsy. For those of you who have done this, what was your experience like? I've found some that i like and have ordered samples and read reviews but still feel a liitle hesitant. Thanks!!

We ordered samples, absolutely adored one specific one. We just couldn’t justify spending over $300 for 30 invitations. I loved quite a few on Etsy, I just couldn’t justify the cost. We ended up going with Shutterfly during the 40% off sale. Saved a lot, and we’re ordering a few other things for the invitations, but still will have only spent $150 for them as opposed to over $300.

We ordered from TinyPrinter they are based out of FL and do letterpress only. $800 for 125 letterpress invitations with an additional insert. Not the cheapest but what I was looking for! With Etsy make sure the work is worth it since most of the time you receive a file and have to print it yourself. Your time is worth something. And for me it was worth $800 to receive a box ready to mail out hahahahaha. Also make sure the invitations match the formality of your event.

I got etsy invites for my first wedding and they turned out perfect. I loved being able to talk with the seller as they were being made.

I ordered mine off of Etsy and loved them. They were a great deal too. Try Penelope’s paper pantry. She is amazing and has tons of options to choose from!

I got my invitation suite and "day of" paper from an Etsy shop called PrettyLilNotes. I was able to custom design them exactly how I wanted, even the plaid.

I got my invitations from ParadiseInvitations on Etsy. I had a wonderful experience. I purchased the digital file of a 5x7 invitation, a rehearsal card, RSVP card and belly band. I had it all printed and cut to size at Staples and that saved us a ton. $45 for the Etsy invites customized and about $62 to be printed at Staples for 100 invites.

I just put down a deposit with an Etsy vendor right now and am working with them on my first round of edits. I'm hoping this all works out, but it will end up being approximately 1000$ for 140 invites. So definitely pricey. I can update you in a couple weeks when I hopefully have a gorgeous final product in my hands!

I found etsy to end up being a huge cost that I was not okay with.. not for the paper to be thrown away. Vistaprint was great. I got 80 of them for $45.

I used a vendor on Etsy for mine and I have absolutely no regrets. She made a few changes on a design she already had and I printed through vistaprint. It looks perfect, we got so many compliments even from FH's male friends which I thought was so unexpected!

I got a electronic template that I could print anywhere. It came with invitation, detail card and rsvp. Then I went to catprint.com and told them how I needed them printed. they sent me a sample and got printed. I think I have gotten the template and the invitations for all under $500

I did mine in Vistaprint. I got 70 invites, envelopes, and RSVPs as well as 140 address labels and 100 "registry cards" and shipping for 155. The first ones were actually much paler than expected and they sent replacements for free!

We got the gold ribbon at Hobby Lobby. Then edited the wreath from the big invite and made a small version for the ribbon to attach to. We also ordered the envelopes and liners online from a seperate site. Spent about 120 in all.

I am shopping on Etsy, but I am trying to just stick with digital downloads. That way I can print them where I would like.

I'm attending a friend's wedding this summer, and she had me (I am a graphic designer, by school and by my career) do her invitations for her! If you know of someone who at least can work Adobe products, it's super simple to send them a template/invitation you like and they can recreate it but customize it the way you want them to. I promise they'd be happy to do it for free (get them a bottle of wine as a thank you!) and you have a lot more control over timing and printing options, like a personal Etsy!

I ordered our invitation from Anna’s Bridal Bargins and love them really reasonable and shipped quickly. I placed my order on Friday and received the order by the following Wednesday. Great quality!
