Etsy Fake flowers corsages/boutonniere? Help!

Trinity, on November 4, 2019 at 5:47 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 2

Hello everyone,

I spoke to a few florist, and I am very surprised with the price since I looked up average prices for florals. Anyway, the florists I talked to charge $30 per corsage and $20 for boutonnieres. In this case, has anyone used Etsy's fake flowers for mothers' pin on corsages, and fathers and groomsmen's boutonniere? Etsy's fake corsages are like $7 a piece. I have 5 groomsmen, and Etsy's only costs like $10 each.

My only concern is whether or not the fake corsages and groomsmen's boutonnieres doesn't match the bridesmaids' bouquets (with real flowers).

Help!!! What should I do?

Fake parents' flowers and real bridal party flowers?

I got everything I needed (9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsman, bridal bouquet, grooms boutonniere, mothers wrist corsages and fathers boutonnieres) from an etsy shop called lily of angeles and everything came out beautiful! I got it all for under $500!

    Hey Trinity!

I certainly don't think that your guests will notice if your parents and the bridal party's flowers don't match up. Is it really important to you that they look cohesive? If so, having them roughly the same size and color will help them coordinate together.

Would it be an option to have all of the corsages and boutonnieres from the same vendor i.e. artificial? This would also help with them all looking the same.
