We are skipping a traditional wedding cake and just doing 3 different desserts! A chocolate and espresso torte, an apple crostata, and a butter cake with berries and white chocolate. They’ll be individual serving sizes and set up around the dance floor.

Hi Mich906! I love this idea of doing smaller desserts with lots of variety! Are you thinking different Mexican pastries? Or what will you be including in your lineup of single serving sized Mexican desserts?

We are planning to have a dessert bar with a variety of mini desserts: donuts, cookies, cheesecake, brownies, chocolate covered bacon, and cinnamon buns in addition to our wedding cake. Extra but worth it.

My fiance hates cake, and I've never eaten a slice at any wedding I've been to, so we are having a huge Viennese dessert table with mini cakes, cookies, tarts, various hot stations like bananas foster and hot waffles, and chocolate covered strawberries at every table. In addition, our favors are Italian cookies and Polish donuts to represent the combining of our heritages.

Extra. Most guests don’t even eat cake so I wouldn’t even do a cake if you’re going to do donuts or pies or whatever. I regret doing cake - wasted $350 for 75 pieces when only about 20 were eaten. I wish we would’ve just done donuts or cake pops.

Doing a candy bar and it's a surprise for my fh, he loves his sweets. Got boxes for guest as a favor to take home with them. Plus we are doing cupcakes

This is EXTRA for me.

But keep in mind I’m having a brunch wedding.

I would totally do a candy bar if it was an evening wedding.

Extra. We are just having a cake/cupcakes. We do, however, also have gourmet custom lollipops as our favors! :-)

Small cake to cut. Several cupcake flavors. And of course a Pittsburgh cookie table.

Extra but worth it to us. We like cake but love other desserts more. Lol. We are having a small cake for cutting and those that want a piece. Our dessert table will have tiramisu shooters, brownie bites, gourmet cookies, chocolate pecan tarts, and key lime tarts. I'm getting a sugar rush just thinking about it!

View Quoted Comment I found them on Etsy, Leccare Lollipops is the company. The owner has been great to work with so far and has a ton of flavors available. She will be personalizing the wrappers with our name, wedding date and the words “lucky in love” (Vegas wedding, lol.) I even had to contact her last week to add to my order since we will have more guests than anticipated, and she was very accommodating.

We are having three different cake flavors, and the cake was included in our venue package. With everything we are having for food choices, we didn't feel additional dessert was necessary.

Always good to have some carbs to soak up booze haha
