Dear Girls, What do you think about Engagement Rings with colored gemstones? I love gems, I love emeralds and ruby! They are very gorgeous and I know that some princesses chose these rings, but is it too pretentious? I found these at One2Threejewelry.com

I prefer rubies and sapphires, both light and dark blue, to any clear diamond. ( don't care for white sapphires.)

If you want color, go for it. I wanted something different and I absolutely love Aquamarine since it is my birthstone, so that is what we went with.

So with us; we mutually decided to make the ring together he told me to pick out the stone and he picked out the setting. We HATE diamonds (won’t get into why unless asked) so we got ruby and pink sapphire in a French inspired vintage 14k rose gold setting via James Allen. But lol I can never get a clear picture of it and depending on the lighting my ruby will go from practically purple, moon prism power pinkish, to deep red, the “pink ladies” do their thing and go deep pink to very light again depending on lighting. All natural stones none of it lab made. Smiley winking and again it IS rose gold but in these due to yellow lighting it looks a wii more yellow lol go against the grain- ditch the diamonds =^^=

It is believed that the larger and more expensive the stone, the stronger the love will be, and the family's well-being is stronger and more abundant. The engagement ring symbolizes the strength of feelings and the seriousness of the groom's intentions, and, of course, his ability to provide for the future family. If a girl accepts the ring, it means that she gives her consent to get married.
