Engagement ring and wedding band

Good question! I’m curious about this too. Do you wear the engagement ring and add the band or neither?

Mine is the same way! For the wedding I put my engagement ring inside the enhancer, and I will get them soldered after the wedding. That way I could wear the engagement ring by itself until the day of! But you can really do whatever is easier for you

I have an enhancer as well that I'll be getting soldered. I will get them soldered together ahead of time and walk down bare handed. I think it also works because I wouldnt want FH to try and fidget with it trying to put it together standing up at the alter and then possibly dropping it because he might feel rushed/pressured. Then if that happens, he might get flustered and embarrassed.

This is your personal decision. I wouldn’t feel good about wearing my wedding band before I was married. I think it would have taken away from the ring ceremony at the wedding.

I plan to only wear my engagement ring.

For our minimony I didn't wear my engagement ring once it was cleaned (so for about a week before the wedding). My husband put both my engagement ring and my wedding band on during the ceremony. For our big wedding I will already have on both rings but my husband will be adding another band (to the top). So in all I will have 2 wedding bands and an engagement ring

I wore my engagement ring on my right hand prior to the ceremony, and after we exchanged rings, I put my engagement ring on my left hand. I ended up getting my rings soldered about a month after our wedding.

If you get your rings soldered prior to the wedding, I would just wait to wear your rings until the ring exchange at the ceremony. That is what one of my friends did!

I have an enhancer too. I just wore my engagement ring on my left hand and took off the ring at the part of the ceremony where my husband needed the ring. Nobody even noticed that I took my ring off.
