Your photographer is a great resource when scouting locations, have you booked one yet? Sometimes they have ideas/suggestions of areas where they've photographed before!

I know you said central but we had ours done at the Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park and it was amazing!

Hi thank you everyone for your input! My photographer suggested Heublein Tower in Simsbury which I think we’re going to go with! We are getting married at The Riverview (also in Simsbury) so it has some relevance and significance to us! It’s a bit of a hike but we are definitely up for it. I’ll post some photos afterwards
