Engagement Anniversary

I think that would be nice. Its always good to make someone feel special and loved....especially with food haha.

I totally understand the long engagement. I just got engaged and wedding not til speing 2018. Not doing anything for wedding yet makes it not even feel real.

So yes I think your idea is great!!!! I was going to do the same thing today with flowers just for it being 2 weeks since engaged hahaha. Did you guys pick a date yet?

Our 1 year engagement is also our 5 year anniversary so we will definitely be doing something. We love our anniversary. We both take it off from work every year. I think it's really sweet.

I think after you just have to celebrate your wedding anniversary. Me and FH decided to get married on the 10 year anniversary of our first date because we thought it was cool, and it's one less day we have to remember, haha.

Today is our 1 year engagement anniversary! We slept and watched a movie in bed, going for a hike, then grabbing lunch together before FH has to go to work. It just feels like a really romantic day!

FH and I had our first (official) date on July 3, got engaged the next year in July 2, and will be getting married the next year on July 1. Obviously we love July. ;-)

We will be married before our one year engagement anniversary :-) we've been together 7.5 years got engaged May 20 getting married March 18 !!

Thats sweet. Our engagement is Christmas and i effing love Christmas almost as much as i love my FH. But with all the festivities going on, we never do anything special despite the fact that we got engaged going on 2 years ago. Ive been telling people its 3 years and that we got engaged after 1.5 years together but I literally just did math and that is 100% incorrect. As my FH likes to say (very jokingly) "how the hell did you (meaning me) get into college? Its a good thing you're pretty!" Lol

This is an embarrassing moment for me. I am ashamed.

We will be married before our 1 year engagement anniversary! Got engaged August 30th and will marry on March 14th. Otherwise we might have done something simple to celebrate but we'll be married for almost 6 months by the time that rolls around!

My FH proposed Christmas Eve last year. This year we'll be too broke being 4 months from the Big Day to do anything over the top, but we've become masters at cheap/free dates and outings. Actually we'll probably be at my folks' house doing the traditional Christmas Eve thing. It's like squeezing blood from a turnip with all the changes we've had: moving from Japan to San Diego, spending our liver in rent, hoping neither car has any issues requiring major repair anytime soon, and saving for wedding and honeymoon.

We have a long engagement but our engagement anniversary is on my birthday, so I think we'll just celebrate together. If it was another day of the year I'd emphasize it some how. I think dinner is a great idea!

We were planning something, I used my week vacation from work for that week, but I just put in my two weeks and got a new job, so I'll be at the new job by then. So probably just a small dinner, nothing big.

We will do something... but really only because it will also be my birthday... since he propsed on my birthday last year he says he can never top that present... lol
