So my 1 year engagment anniversary is this Monday!!! Did any of your or do you plan to do anything for your fiancé ? I am thinking of surprising him with a lavish dinner and just remembering our special day together and what the future holds. I think since we had a long engagement it would be nice....

Our 1 year engagement anniversary is a few days before before our anniversary as a couple which we always celebrate by going to San Diego.

He proposed on Christmas. We sent our STDs a couple weeks before Christmas so around the 1 year mark everyone was just learning when our wedding would actually be. Other than that we didn't do anything special.

Our 1 year engagement anniversary is January 1 so we will probably be with family if I don't work. I honestly haven't thought that far in advance unless it's for the wedding.

We celebrate everything!!!!! Just to have special times together!!! We bought our house dec 4... we went to KFC in-between the move, so this dec 4... we plan on getting KFC and bringing it to our home and making it our house signing day.. lol little things count for us.
When FH proposed he wanted to block the downstairs ( we have a bilevel) so he hung up a black sheet... with nails.. in brand new walls... so right in our entry way. There are 4 holes . My dad said to patch them up.. and I just can't.. those are my proposal nail holes.. they make me smile when I walk down the stairs!

Thank you everyone for the responses !! We kept it simple and just did something small at home as we are saving for this wedding and yes we picked date its June 3!!

TiffanyGomez2018 i think your story is great!! did you set a date yet? I told my FH that i didn't want to get married or engaged around any major holidays. So thats why our engagement was in Oct and the wedding in June

Meaghan i wish you the best with your wedding!! I can't believe you moved from Japan Also please share your cheap/free and fun date nights with me i would love to get some ideas as we are trying to do that to save up for the wedding

Our 1 year engagement anniversary was spent driving in the car 6 hours home from Christmas = )

We're not big on anniversaries or anything, I'm sure we will now that we're married though.
