Just eloped- no regrets!

We did it!!!

Yes. We cancelled our big wedding that we’d been planning for 18 months and eloped. And were having a one year anniversary party instead. It was so worth it, I felt I would be paying for something I didnt even want, people wearing masks in all the pictures, etc. Plus planning during a pandemic is ridiculously stressful. I felt relieved honestly

Eloping was our VERY VERY first idea BUT we also planned on doing it in Hawaii. With certain guests we wanted to attend, we couldn't do it because of where in Hawaii we chose. We had chose a different elopement option but that got complicated so we just let it go and went for the "big" wedding we're currently planning. With Covid, we won't be surprised if we even hit 100 guests and that's ok. If I were you, I'd do it. Elope now and once this all blows over (hopefully), you can always plan a big reception later down the road.
