Has anyone eloped? We are thinking of doing that possibly in new Orleans. Any pointers or places you could suggest and how did you do it... just you two or did you invite people?

Our planis to do a small ceremony local with just a couple of friends. I am hoping my brother will walk me down the aisle. We will have a post ceremony reception later and invite more people. It makes planning easier and more affordable. You may need witnesses for the marriage license so yippy can have a few people if you want.

We are on the fence our families dont know we are engaged kinda a romeo and juliet thing going on. My parents dont like him his dad doesn't like me because of stuff that happened when we first started dating so we havent told them and most likely wont til after we do so. So it will probably just be the 2 of us
